“Just want to drive without stopping—” The light went green. “You can go now, darling,” she said. He rolled forward— —and the road train hit them. It arrived like an iron verdict. Metal screamed. Tyres detonated. The truck spun—once, twice—fuel lines tore, and fire bloomed into the sky. Glassflowered. People screamed. The road train’s cab hissed and ticked, cooling in the sudden quiet. From inside, a ghost of music bled out: Linkin Park, “What I’ve Done.”

After Lynn got rich, she started to spend frivolously. She even came to brag about her limited edition branded bag to me. “Harper, we should find a good place for our vacation!” I was not listening to what she was saying. The bodyguard escorted her to the train. It was only after Lynn boarded the train that she felt that something was wrong. She took out her phone to make a call, but I tossed it out of the train window. “The scenery is beautiful. Isn’t it nice to just admire it?” I looked out the window.

Jasmine stood there with her hopes up, finally the train stopped right in front of her, and she stayed in line waiting for her to turn to get in, but then suddenly the train closed it's doors, and some of the authorities came down. "We are sorry, but this train will not be leaving anymore, everyone please just calm down, we will return each and everybody's money, we are so sorry for the delay" a woman said. "But that's not fair, we have places that we have planned to be, you can't just tell us to leave, this is all shades of wrong" one of the passengers said.

I couldn't believe the things coming out of their mouths. My face was burning a deep crimson. For the rest of the day, I lay on the sleeper berth in the back while the two men chatted up front. Most of their conversation consisted of raunchy jokes and dirty talk. I tried to act uninterested, but they were so loud that every word reached my ears.

'Out of my way, I am in a hurry,' the oncoming train boomed a horn inform of a voice. "Stop where you are or change your route," Chelsea responded in a commanding voice assuming it would listen to her. 'Sorry ma' am but I have to follow my program for the journey to go on swiftly,' the computerised train replied back while entering the tunnel and beaming it's headlamps as indication for them to pave way. ***

Master Milton said excitedly. "Noted here that Panashe is to be present." Me. McGowan said with his spectacles right below his nose. "That's absurd, she is a bloody slave!" Milton yelled. With a sigh the lawyer replied. "It's your father's wishes not mine, do not shoot the messenger." Gerald and Milton exchanged eye contact, she the negro was present it only meant she was getting something. Almost immediately Lady Martha told the housekeeper to call Panashe, the silence was horrid as they waited for Panashe, a little over ten minutes, she entered the room.

Lanasia assists the kids for me and that's when I gave her the signal for our plan. Afvshaganifs suddenly appears on the table, relaxing while intoxicating himself. "I am not the monster~!" He fidgets the bracelet on his wrist. "We are yet to see who the real monster is." And I think he's overwhelming for me to handle, too! Ophelia's train appeared behind, raging toward us. Hedwelch is the very first one the train might run over and all I could think for a short moment is to pull the three of them away! Nevertheless, we were struck by the steel wheel. The powerful collision tossed us on the floor followed by the loud explosion of the engine.

"Me?" "Yes," I said, raising an eyebrow. "Well, something like that," he replied cryptically, leaning back in his seat with calm ease. Before I could ask what he meant, the train lurched into motion, picking up speed almost dizzyingly. "This has to be a bullet train," I muttered, amazed at how fast we were moving. "It's okay, Bellissima," he murmured. "What does that mean?" I asked, shifting uncomfortably under his steady gaze. He had called me that several times today.

One minute before the plane took off, Riley entered the plane and said, "Remember! Once you're on the train, you have to be careful!" Elliot could only swallow hard, while Gale boldly asked, "Deputy General Mackenzie, what's wrong with the train?"

It was turning into a PR nightmare for the railroad. During that fateful trip a couple months back, it’d been discovered an infected passenger had somehow bypassed all the safety measures and screenings and boarded the train. The man was clearly deranged or on something because about an hour into the trip, he freaked the fuck out. Started attacking other passengers. Security dealt with him rather swiftly, but by then the damage had already been done. So far no one involved in the scuffle besides the assailant had tested positive, but it didn’t really matter. The emotional trauma had done its part. And fucked the railroad’s safe image to hell. And it wasn’t going away anytime soon.
