I asked and when I glanced at him, he was crossing his arms over his chest to give out an intimidating stance, narrowing his eyes into thin slits. Jesus... "Uhuh," he responded tersely. Really, dad? You just had to pull an overprotective father stunt, why don't you? Mike stood up from the bed and held out his hand. "I just want to introduce myself properly due to um... circumstances," he said awkwardly as he shifted his foot. "I'm Michelangelo Lombardi, but you can call me Mike." I glanced back at dad and I saw his eyebrows shoot up, surprise encompassed his entire demeanor. "Lombardi? As in Lombardi Enterprises?" and then he shook his hand.

I said as I crossed my arms in front of my chest. "I love mint choco." He said and I stopped. "Disgusting!" I hissed and he laughed. "Why is that disgusting? It's good." "I feel like brushing my teeth when I eat that flavour." I shook my head. "Do you have a pet?" He asked. "I have a black labrador at home. How about you?" "Really? I have a labrador too!" He said and I turned to him completely surprised. "Millie.. her name." "Blue.. his name." I turned to him and looked at him straight into his eyes.

He says eventually, noises behind him reveal the blonde girl that Flame was arguing with earlier. “Oh please be Darius’ friend.” She grins, pushing the boy out of the way and extending her hand. “I’m Gale. Gale Winters.” “Cain Harden.” I shake her hand quickly before dropping it and turning to the boy again, attempting to be pleasant when I just want him to get the fuck out of my way. “Darius told me we were going Tree Surfing.”

And the girl was obediently sleeping without pulling him anymore. Mikey lit a cigar, he stood by the floor-to-ceiling window looking outside, it was now pouring rain. He frowned at the many missed call notifications on his phone screen. Mikey opens his personal assistant's message: [Where is the boss, not coming home? I'm so miserable. I just had to come up with an excuse to lie to my boss's wife.]

Both of them were still silent while being preoccupied with their respective cigarettes. "Hah, I thought you were going to ask me to thwart weapons smuggling or alcoholic beverages as usual. That's lame," Mike teased, smiling wryly at Barra. The man who was being satirized was still silent. His mind was only focused on why his ex had come back to his side in such a pathetic way. "Come on, Barra. Don't tell me that you're curious about what happened to that hot girl," Mike said casually. "If you are, what do you want?" Barra challenged.

Then standing up and shaking Matthews hand. Mikey turned to me and said "Who's this beautiful lady?" Matthew clenched his jaw and said "This is Ali Dream. She's My P.A, so back off." Mikey put his hands up and said "Just asking." Mikey is probably just like Matthew. Their both friends, so I'm just gonna assume that their alike. Then again... maybe not, I mean Mikey doesn't really look like a typical rich guy right now. Instead of a suit, he's using a white v-neck t-shirt and dark jeans.

He dashes to me in an instant. Like usual, he’s not wearing the standard suit the males in my family do. He’s got on a t-shirt that’s so worn it has a few scattered holes, and jeans equally old that are slung so low on his hips a female would be drooling over his skin on display. His body is a swarm of random tattoos and scars he wears with pride. Though none are on his face and glaringly obvious like mine. I instantly try to come up with a reason for being here right now, but I don’t have one. Then

We’re going to—’ ‘Where’s the bar again, old man? ‘Red Lips Bar. Not very far from here.’ ‘Right. You heard that, right, Gabriel? Red Lips it is.’ The call ended. I turned to him again with a weird smile on my lips. I could hear his heartbeat from where I stood. I was enjoying every fucking moment. And God help Evans if I eventually get a hold of her, she’ll live like my dog from that moment on. ‘Would you like some more wine before we get going, Perry?’ I smiled, all my teeth showing.

Those burning red eyes won’t leave my mind, neither will the feel of those hands on my neck, that pelvis pressing up against my backside… or the salacious, daring words rolling off of that tongue… “Double bourbon. Now,” I snap at the bar tender, and he leaves his other customer in an instant, cracking open the top shelf stuff smuggled in straight from Kentucky and pouring me two fingers. “That’s the idea, kid! Get some fire in that belly. I’m guessing it weren’t a great walk?” Mikey calls out laughingly, as he and the guys finally spot me, hanging over the bar like a wet towel freshly wrung out by some damn, strong hands. Those hands… Those eyes…
