A few hours into the flight he felt a nudge on his leg. Archer opened his eyes, “O’Connell.” He answered, clearing his throat and readjusting his position. “What’s up?” He said, rubbing his face.
“It’s the boss.” He answered, handing the satellite phone to him.
“Sir,” he shouted down the phone, making sure he could be heard over the rattling of the engines.
“Sit rep.”
“Nothing there. Empty sir.”
“Roger, will see you for the debrief 0800 tomorrow.”
“Roger, sir.”
