Neither of them said anything because there was nothing useful to say. Mindy set the paper bag she had been holding this whole time down on the coffee table and started pulling out the croissants. Serena immediately reached for one without being invited and Marcus opened his mouth then closed it again because he had clearly already accepted that his sister operated on her own rules in any space she entered. "So what do you do?" Serena asked Mindy, breaking off a piece of her croissant. "Fashion," Mindy said. "I have my own brand. Ready to wear some couture work, I did my first major showcase recently actually."

I message Mandy and let her know that I am up and ready and I sit and wait for her to send me the relevant work. For the next three hours, I am stuck making meeting bookings and invoicing the clients for Jet. Mandy sent me new contracts which I needed to sort out for our clients and email them through for approval. Some of our files that went cold were reopened as Jet found that it would be better to keep busy rather than to worry about my well-being the whole day. With each new clue, Jet had managed to get answers to over ten clients which were grateful enough for his help. I sit back in my chair as I let out a sigh, Adam has come to check on me every thirty minutes but he hasn't been back

“And what will you do, when my potions begin to fail you?” “Well, what will it matter?” Mindy asks with a sigh, like she’s answered this a thousand times before. “I’ll be married with six little pups running around.” “Six,” Mindy says with a laugh, taking the milk and pouring some into her tea herself, swirling her finger in the air and sending the liquid in her cup spinning. My eyes widen as I watch. “We’ll see if you get through one.”
