Lilith's POV. I never imagined that one day... I would be the one sitting before the grand mirror in the Alpha's mansion, surrounded by smiling maids instead of mocking faces. Even now... "There is only one person who would have been able to pull this up, and that person is Princess Ashina. Unfortunately, the lovely princess is dead but I guess we have her reincarnated here." Damon tapped me lightly on the shoulder. Well, her reincarnation is indeed here, literally. "I hope I will not get into trouble because of this?" I asked him. "What do you mean? Why should you be in trouble for being a brain box?"

Finally, there was a girl that looked just like me, almost like a mirror. “You know me as Serenity,” she started to say, “I am your fairy and control your magic.” She then gestured to each figure in turn. “This is Arashi, she is your dragon soul, princess of dragons. This here is Lucinda, your wolf spirit and healer. Finally, this is Silk, your sprite. She controls your vampire magic and is the form you’ve been adopting since you were 8.”

She makes sure everyone comes on time and everything is arranged before the store opens. She is dark in complexion, she isn’t tall maybe at about five feet one inches if not less. She is fat, her eyes are brown, she has a round-shaped nose and her lips are thick and brown. "I’m so sorry, I can ex…." Why are they running late? Finally, after an hour of waiting, the others arrived one after the other. There was a total of seven people in the team. She is caught by surprise when Tabitha grabs her by the hands, she stares into Minerva’s eyes for a long while. I see Minerva eyes go wide, they’re locked in a trance, and I hear Tabitha say “Remember me” in a whisper to Minerva. Minerva winds her arms around Tabitha, they close their eyes and have a smile on their faces. I wonder what I am seeing. My mother whispers.

Zayn caught my eye for a brief second, but I quickly looked away, determined not to let him get under my skin again today. Seven, the ever-observant second-in-command, nodded in my direction as I approached. Seleira stood beside him, her arms crossed, eyes scanning the group with her usual sharp focus. I took a deep breath and started stretching, doing my best to avoid eye contact with Zayn. The last thing I needed was another pointless exchange with him. "Oh, the princess is back."
