She and the Smiths were at each other's throats like a wild dog fight. Matthew was looking at years behind bars. I had moved on from all that drama a while back. I had been busy launching the new game I helped make. It was all about love and getting even, and even though it was for a pretty specific crowd, people were loving it. Today, Edwin threw a big party to celebrate the game's success. Right there, with everyone watching, he got down on one knee. "You remember that last question I asked you in our interview? Got an answer yet?"

Mia approached Nova carrying a folded piece of paper. “I wrote something.” Nova smiled. “Can I see it?” The girl hesitated before handing it over. Nova unfolded the page carefully. At the top, written in careful handwriting, were the words: Things that feel better than they used to. The list underneath was simple. Mondays. Hospitals. Waiting rooms. Phone calls. Rain. Being quiet. Nova read the list twice. Then looked up. “This is beautiful.” Mia looked embarrassed immediately. “It is just a list.”

Alec’s POV Slowly pushing open the door to my new apartment, I took a deep breath. I stepped inside and was immediately struck by how small and cramped everything looked. The kitchen was barely bigger than a closet and the living room was crowded with a couch, coffee table, and TV stand that barely fit in the space. I hated the place but it was the only apartment I could find on short notice, which was not too far away from the college campus.

He had promised her he'd stay away but that was going to be hard to do if he couldn't get her out of his mind. "Okay what's it going to be? Terminator, dark fate or The Nun." Reggie asked as she made herself comfortable on the love couch. William snapped out of his thoughts and raised his eyebrows in amusement. "You can't handle horror Reggie. I know you." Reggie laughed. "I have my knight here with me, I'm pretty sure I'd be safe." William had a goofy smile on his face. "Alright. The Nun it is." ***** "Oh no mum." Isabel groaned.

POV(FIONA), Everything went blank, or maybe something like, mist covering the whole place, but it was preety different, and it kept changing, and now, I'm in the middle of a thick forest, and I could hear the sounds of the Forest animals, it felt too real to be an illusion. It was fine, as long as I'm not in the middle of some people, who just want to watch me being humiliated, it felt so good, and that moment, i thought.....

“Is it your time to leave? Or your want to talk about Isabella some more.” “You better watch your niece, Minerva. She should grow with grace.” “No, she won’t. I have had enough of that Grace, I won’t let her ruin my life and Isabella’s but yes, I know what you really mean. Will I get to read the story?” “You will get to be in the story, Minerva. Hopefully, I will publish it on all the platforms by this month. I have only written down three chapters now, but I haven’t exactly typed it, so laziness is biting on my butt.”

"Aboo ah!" Damn this stupid body! Could not even speak properly! Four months ago, Minerva was just sleeping peacefully after she got home from school. But when she woke up, she was shocked to learn that she was in a body of a baby! Was she still dreaming? She was still dreaming, right? She had to be dreaming! No way she would be just like some of the protagonists on an isekai novels, anime, or manhwas! Minerva thought that one day she would wake up from this dream. But even after four months had passed, she's still living in the body of a baby!
