She did not talk, only sat on the floor next to the bed, with her knees hugged to her, and waited until Rain would speak. So Rain did. She narrated to her about the warehouse, and the ropes that tore into her wrists, about the grin on Veylor’s face, and how quiet it was when you believed that you would die. Mina was listening with a pale face, running her fingers on the carpet. When Rain was done, Mina finally spoke. “I have been writing everything down.” Rain blinked. “Writing?” Mina nodded, and she took out a small leather notebook out of her pocket. “When people lie, paper does not.”

: Stranded with the Stranger The wind howled like a wild animal outside the small wooden cabin. Snow came down so thick it felt like the whole mountain wanted to bury us alive. I stood by the tiny window, pressing my face close to the cold glass, trying to see anything beyond the white blur. Nothing. Just endless white and the angry roar of the storm.

The sky shimmered with unborn realities. And there, standing in the center, was the First Memory. Younger. Brighter. Happier. Nova watched silently. The younger First Memory sat beneath a tree. Holding something. A tiny light. A tiny golden spark. Small enough to fit in her hands. Nova frowned. The spark felt familiar. Painfully familiar. The younger First Memory smiled down at it. "So there you are." The spark brightened. Responding to her voice. The woman laughed softly.

Alyssa holds hands and begins to sick soulfully: “When the heart is frozen, and your tears flow like the waterfalls in Alparo, when all seems lost and peace is yonder, oh! Lekan came downstairs, already changed. "Babe," he called. Wunmi turned and frowned but because of Tayo standing there, she placed a fake smile on her face.

Ivana narrowed her eyes at her. "Cause I'm the writer," Arielle shrugged her shoulders. "Writer?" Ivana cocked her head to the side. "Remember I promised to fess up everything, I think it's time, Ivana, I know it's hard to believe what I'm going to say but please be patient, I'll explain everything to you. The truth is this world is the world I created, in short, we're inside my novel," She confessed.
