Mira said softly, “this might be your only chance. Please—trust me.” Lila’s eyes flickered conflicted, betrayed then she nodded, her voice trembling. “Do it,” she whispered. Mira injected the serum into Lila’s neck. The process was agonizingly slow, as the sister’s body convulsed, her muscles spasming. Her eyes fluttered, her breathing ragged. For a moment, hope flickered perhaps the cure was working. But then, something changed. Lila’s body convulsed violently, her scream echoing with a raw, primal terror. Her eyes turned jet black, pupils dilating into abyssal voids. Her limbs jerked uncontrollably as dark energy surged through her, twisting her form into something monstrous.

I went to her side right away; gave her a hug I was glad that she was alive. When I broke the hug, I could see that she had a confuse look on her face. Then I took notice that her fur was shining. I notice everyone was looking at her, I told her I will show her. I took out my phone, and place on the camera I pointed it to her directions. So, she could see for herself, once she saw her reflection, I can tell she had questions, especially the mark that was now on her forehead. Mileena shifted back this time she still had her clothes on. A Few minutes later the elders approached then Elder Vernon told Mileena that she was destin for greatness.

I almost lost balance.

“How about you get into your pajamas, and we’ll get you some milk and cookies? We can watch Miraculous Ladybug—the new episode came on tonight.” Malaya’s eyes lit up instantly, excitement chasing away the lingering cold. “Yes!” she squealed, already halfway to the stairs. She stopped suddenly, one hand gripping the railing, then spun around like she’d forgotten something important. Her energy softened, replaced with a quiet hesitation as she walked back toward Jordan. “Thanks for a great day,” she said quietly, her voice smaller now, shy in a way that made Laila’s chest ache.

At last, the vault opened. Sera appeared, curled like a child in the corner. "I found you," Mirabel whispered. "Too late," Lucien snarled, lunging again. But this time, Sera stood. Sensing the danger around Abbadon, Jazmine moved and headed towards Mira, who was thwarting Abbadon's constant attack.

The room rustled with bugs as a result. “Hmm,” Meguitte carefully picked her way across the room, avoiding the trap which was as freshly marked as the day Leighton had made it, and selected a jar that already seethed with bug life. She set it near the door and reached out with her power. “Inlerum caprae.” Within moments, the bugs began making trails towards the jar, the flies plunging into the sticky mess, and the insects crawling up the glass. “Nice,” Connery approved from behind the mask. “Can you do anything about the smell?”
