Clea Mair‘s Pov

“Miss Clea, the new products have arrived!”

“Miss Clea, the customs called and they wanted to discuss something about the shipment that we are going to receive next month.”

“Miss Clea, I've got three new appointments for the possible investors that we are targeting this month.”

“Miss Clea…”

That was one of the things that I personally took care of for my job, which I got three weeks after I got my freedom from my father.

I am one of the managers who work at Jyn Food Chain Corporation. And I was assigned to find possible investors for the continued success of the company, not only here at Hexoria Kingdom, but also in the whole world.

I am also stationed in the commissary department of this company, where the products of the restaurant are being processed.

And aside from finding investors, I was also tasked to become the company’s representative to talk to the customs about the ingredients that we are importing from other countries.

Of course, JFCC is a big company, and we are making sure that nothing would be able to sneak into the shipment that is not involved with us.

Well, there were a lot of groups that used the customs to sneak some illegal things in and out of the country, just like drugs and weapons. Or some were sneaking in and out as undocumented refugees to use in their transactions for the group that was operating inside the country.

And I think I am doing well at my job.

My co-workers are treating me well. The salary is also good. That is why I told my dad that he should stop sending me an allowance to pay for my apartment because I can now cover that on my own.

With my salary, I also managed to buy a nice car for myself, and aside from that, I also supported a foundation that I built to help women who were left alone by their husbands to give them something to start their lives again.

I know that it was still small to make my parents proud, but those things are part of the proof that my decision to leave the palace was not wrong.

And it is making me happy every day in my life.

“Miss Clea,” Lenon, my assistant, called me. He has been with me since I started as an office encoder in the company until I was promoted to one of the managers.

“Is there a problem, Len?”

Yeah, he preferred to be called Len because he is gay. For him, calling him Lenon is kind of awkward, and it sounded like he was a hunk straight guy.

And since we were always together at work, he became my best friend.

“Well, you could say that it is a problem.” He handed me a folder and I immediately took that to see its content. “Andrius Port gave notice that they are going to close their port because they are doing some deep renovation. And they estimated that it will last for at least one year, so they advised us to find another port and warehouse to transfer our stocks there.”

Damn! This is really a problem.

Of all the ports in this country, the Andrius Port has the best facilities to stock the food products of our company.

And with the help of their warehouse, we never had an incident where our products got spoiled. That is why we never consider changing ports.

But now, I guess we really have to find another one.

“Make a new report for this issue,” I said, and gave the folder back to him. “Then, send it to the main office together with the possible solution to this issue.”

“Then, what port are we possibly seeking as a replacement for the Andrius port?”

I took a map of the Axia Region. I immediately marked the port where we possibly asked to transfer our products that were stocked at the warehouse in Andrius Port.

“I was thinking that maybe we can talk to the Henan Port of Scente Port.” Those are the only ports near the route where the ship carrying our product is using.

He wrote down what I said. “Okay, I will handle this one,” he said. “I will inform you as soon as they come up with a decision.”

I nodded at him, and he left my office.

While I keep staring at the map of the Axia Region.

Scent Port is where a ship carrying an imported chemical product docks. Those chemicals are being used to make different cleaning products. So, even if we gotta go signal to the main office to apply for a space for one of their warehouses, it will not be good for our products.

While the Henan Port was accepting different kinds of products, as well as imported foods. But they have a strict process, which is why only a handful of companies manage to rent a warehouse to them and allow them to dock at their port.

So, I still have to find another port, even just for a while, until the rehabilitation of Andrius Port is done.

But I am not sure if that is possible. Some of the areas where other ports were located were far from the route that the JFCC ship was using.

I sighed and found a list of the people who could possibly help me with this kind of issue. I need some insight as to what I should do to at least get an appointment with the management of the Henan Port.

That is the best choice we had.

And when I found what I was looking for, I immediately sent a message so I could start making proposals to get an appointment at that port.

I just hope that we manage to solve this issue before the arrival of Mr. Jyn for his annual inspection.

I sighed again. Well, I guess there is really no easy job.
