I closed my eyes. The warrior was right. I sighed and picked up my phone. I glanced at the screen. Nothing. No texts. I swallowed hard. I pressed on Mira's name then texted her. “You there? I looked at the screen. I waited. One minute went by. Two. Then… my phone buzzed. “Yeah.” Just that. I felt something. Relief. Pain. I didn’t know. I stared at her reply. Then I typed again. “How are you?”

Giveon and Mirabel were making love deep in their own world. “Maybe he switched off his phone.” Miriam said. “It’s ringing so he probably put it on silent.” Clarissa replied. “Maybe we can try another time. He might be hush and since you’ve called him with my phone then leave a text too. I’m certain he’d return the cal.” Miriam said, trying to hold on to hope. Clarissa did just that. She dropped a text for him and deleted it to not leave any evidence so their story is believable.

ALARIC Moon let go of me the moment Miracle shifted. It was all weird. So strange. So different. So impossible. I was short of words. What the hell just happened? I witnessed it. Miracle was all wrapped up in the fire, raised from the ground, howling at the Moon. The next moment, she was eating it. She just ate that shit or whatsoever it was, to begin with. The most insane thing about all this mess was that she was fine. Not even a single burn. Not a single scratch. She looked like a newly polished mirror. Was I even saying it right? My words and sentences appeared jumbled. Well, not my fault. It was the situation.

Tara She immediately responded. "I need your help! Please come quick. I've fallen into what I believe is a grave! Please, help me. I can't get out on my own!" Her trembling finger hit send and then she sat back and waited for a response. She sat there staring at her phone praying for a quick response. But one didn't come. Of course it didn't come. Why would it? Dead people don't text. Dead people don't talk to you. Dead people can't help you. She really was crazy. She sat there completely broken and alone. She gave up. No one was coming. No one would save her.

I click the message bubble and the conversation opens. It reads: YOU’RE GETTING TOO CLOSE TO STERLING. STAY AWAY FROM HIM! HE’S DANGEROUS!!

“It’s not a big deal. You know I love spending time with your boys. Plus, what are friends for?” I smiled. “Thanks a lot, Rebecca.” “You should also be thanking the fortune teller. She did say I was gonna find love on this trip.” I laughed. “Don't tell me you believe those stuffs?” She shrugged her shoulders. “Maybe not entirely, but I think there's some truth to it.” Just as I was about to respond, my phone chimed. I checked the notification, it was a text message from an unknown number so I opened it. My jaws dropped when I read the text.

Who could be texting me this late at night? I glance at my cellphone and notice a few text messages. Tapping on the message app, a smiling selfie of Mario immediately pops up. However, my eyes widen in disgust as I realize the message contains a picture of an erect dick. It’s undoubtedly Mario’s, and the accompanying text reads, “See how much I miss you, Princess!” Below the gross image, there’s a video. I know I shouldn’t, but curiosity gets the better of me, and I reluctantly play it.

It was Mira, her daughter, using her newfound ability to communicate beyond the bounds of spoken words. "Mom, you're traveling without saying goodbye to me," Mira's voice resonated in Luna's mind. The snowy-white snout prodded at the wire, letting loose a snort. “White buffalo,” Jodean told them, and Richard’s daughter inhaled again with surprise. “They’re magic,” said Katie simply, looking to the smiling woman. “That’s right, sweetie. Some people believe they are magic.”
