After The Divorce: He Wanted Me Back

After The Divorce: He Wanted Me Back

I admitted quietly. Gabriel nodded, like he expected that answer. “She misses you too. She said the house feels incomplete without you dropping by.” The word house settled heavily in my chest. “That’s kind of her,” I said, even though kind felt too small for what she had been to me. “She means it,” he replied. “She always has.” The silence returned, but it was different now. Less awkward. More weighted. Because some connections don’t fade with distance. They just wait.

Marked by the alpha, bound by fate

Marked by the alpha, bound by fate

Where the personal record had moved from the break toward the healing toward the gate letter for the person standing outside, the second notebook moved from the present moment outward — from the specific act of making an introduction or writing a gate letter or seeing a missing thing, toward the understanding of what the act required and what it produced. She wrote, in a section near the middle of the notebook: the connector role is not passive. It looks passive from the outside — you are not the one writing the paper or running the session or managing the institution. But the seeing that makes the connection possible is not passive. It is the specific active practice of holding the full sco

Whispers of Smoke: A Second Chance at Life

Whispers of Smoke: A Second Chance at Life

I did not say anything during the entire thing and just watched her quietly as she put on her show. I wanted to know just how sincere she was during our seven years of friendship. By the looks of it, I was too naive and mistook this venomous viper for a harmless pet. That was why I ended up dying so tragically in the previous cycle. “That’s fine. If you can’t help me, someone else will.” I did not stop smiling and dialed a number. The moment the call went through, the person on the other end asked anxiously, “Miss Nelson, have you managed to contact Joy?”

My Campus Kings And I

My Campus Kings And I

My thumbs hovered over the screen as I opened the notifications. Cain’s message read: "Eli, you need to listen to me. There is something else connected to that book. We didn't write everything that's in there." Cole’s message read: "Do not look at the back pages. Whatever you do, do not open it alone." I lowered my phone slowly, my breath catching in my throat. I looked down at the heavy sociology textbook clutched in my left hand.

Some chapters are messed up. Apologies and I’m already working on fixing it. Do skip Chapter 86 till Chapter 89. They’re replicas and I would not like you wasting your money. I will update when the chapters are fixed.

Luna of the Menae

Luna of the Menae

“M-Mrs. Mason, I’m sure it must be in the same book. I will look it up for you. H-how about I bring the book to your home and we can look at it together? I can be there in an hour.” “That would be great. Thank you, Mister Pan.” I grip the phone tightly. “Oh, uh, h-have you heard from Lady Camille lately?” “I have not, but I’m sure she'll contact me when she’s ready to transport the rare volume she has in her possession, Mrs. Mason.” He reassures me. “Sounds good. I’ll see you soon, Peter.” I hang up the phone and drop to my knees. “Lex, this is it.” I stare blankly at my phone on the floor.

This story was “ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL”!! I love love loved it!! So well written & very descriptive!! The characters had such depth! My favourite characters were Bronx and Kas(Iokaste), of course!! They went through “SO” much, but made it through!!

Love this book and this author. She has found a way to write two books that seem like completely different stories but then happen to intertwine at an unexpected point. Ever chapter she posts leaves me wanting more. I can’t wait to continue reading this series!

The Alpha Who Ruined Me

The Alpha Who Ruined Me

My phone buzzed again on the table. A message from my best friend this time. We never see you anymore. Are you okay? I stared at the screen longer than necessary. Another message followed. You missed Maya’s birthday last week. That’s not like you. Right. I had missed it. I’d told myself I was busy. That I’d make it up to her. That one missed event didn’t matter. But it was becoming a pattern. Missed calls. Missed dinners. Missed moments that used to feel important.

Pretending with the Billionaire

Pretending with the Billionaire

Mia's POV Today’s lack of a call from Mayor Pippins is a good sign. A sign that I still have a job, and that I still can make things work here. I pray the heavens I can stay away from trouble from now on. There was a book missing. Samuel Richardson’s famous Pamela was nowhere to be found. I checked the library’s log online to see who had last checked it out, but to my surprise, it said the book had been returned two weeks ago. So where was it? I scoured the classical novels section, hoping it was just out of place.

“Have Hazel and Lena arrived?” “I’ll check.” I left the conference room to call Hazel, but the call didn’t go through. What was she up to? Why wasn’t she taking my call? Was she busy driving?
