Suddenly a sleek looking guy in expensive slacks and a dirty polo shirt steps up. “Wait I know you ... you are Logan Walker, the actor”. “Uhm yeah I am ... and you are ?” I honestly don’t like him much, he just has an unpleasant aura, and a smell that makes my nose itch, but I remind myself not to judge him without giving him a chance. Maybe he is shaken by the accident.

The man was average height, and was wearing black pants and a black shirt. He had a big scar on his cheek, he was obviously a hired assassin of some sort. "I won't tell you anything" the man said, looking straight into Logan's eyes. Logan chuckled and landed another huge blow on his face. A tooth fell out. "I said, tell me who sent you!" Logan ordered. He was getting impatient, very impatient. He wanted to k!ll him, but he had to get his information first.

(Damian’s POV) The hours following the devastating truth and the subsequent, fierce alliance with Logan were spent in a blur of focused work. Logan was in the secure briefing room, deeply immersed in the encrypted files detailing Arthur Cross’s final intelligence reports on the Mirkwood Pack. His focus was absolute, his rage now a cold, effective weapon. The Mate Bond, while still agonizing in its intensity, was now humming with alignment: two minds set on a single, lethal goal.

The man announced before leaving with the maid. “Close the door.” Silas ordered Logan as they were alone. Silas stood in front of the mirror with only a towel draped around his waist. Logan scoffed and stood at one spot, his hand folded across his chest in defiance. “We are alone now and this is the last time I'd tell you that I'm Logan of Moon Valleys. Let's have a deal, and I'd prove to you that something wrong has happened to me.” Silas chuckled and strolled towards the door and locked it.

He is an only child, so everything comes to him easily and he lives a very comfortable life. Dev came out from behind the locked door. "That asshole. He did not talk. He wouldn't give information even if I shot him." With a wicked grin, he gave a mocking snicker and clucked his tongue in disapproval. He just leaned against the small cabinet in the room and lit a cigarette, letting the smoke curl around him like a strange mist. He is Logan's trusted right-hand man and helps him in his illegal activities. "I killed him. "

All Logan could see of the attacker was a white strip of skin and his eyes. Some sort of hazel or green color. Was that a mole at the corner of his left eye? "I'm not Dixon," Logan said as calmly as possible. "We don't have to do this." There was something about the way the guy stood and how he held his hands that tickled a bit of information in the back of Logan's head. Whatever it was, a sense of dread settled over him.

Mr. Malcolm was shaking all over being in the room all alone with that monster who could kill him at any given time. He tried to call his security when Logan jumped on the table right infront of him to stop him. "If I were you I would not do that, you might not live to see your saviour,’ Logan warned with his fangs elongated dangerously as he moved his face close to the president. M.r Malcolm closed his eyes knowing that he might have already met his death, he waited for the attack but it never came. Opening his eyes Logan was seated on the other end of the long oval table wiping off the blood from his mouth.

He races up the stairs to the helm, where Sawyer turns, casting a wild look at the two of us. Logan pants as he rasps, “I pledge my loyalty to the pack Tempest Valley and its Alpha and Beta.” I rear back, my heart skipping several beats as he says the unthinkable, “I denounce my affiliation to the pack Silverhide, of the Deadlands, and it’s Alpha.” “Oh, my Goddess,” I whisper. Logan’s hand unravels from mine, my arm falling slack at my side. Sawyer clasps his arm, nodding grimly.

“I’m only doing the very same thing you’d have done. Rex Sylas of the Silver Pack, I challenge you to a fight for the title as Alpha of the Silver Pack.” Rex was hardly ever taken unaware, always prepared for everything, and even when he wasn’t, his mask of indifference never faltered. These were the rare moments when Rex Sylas lost his calm. The dark mist swirling in the chamber signaled Logan’s arrival. He appeared silently behind Rex. With my gun still aimed at Rex, I took a step back. “Enjoy the trip.”
