I hated how weak they sounded. Ignoring her pleas, I stepped away and approached the Snake Pit. I opened the glass enclosure, revealing a vibrant, colorful snake coiled within. Its scales shimmered under the dim light, a beautiful creature with a deadly secret. I grabbed its neck firmly, watching as it hissed angrily, venom dripping from its fangs, trying to bite me. “Look at this beauty, Little Mouse,” I said, my voice smooth and taunting. “So pretty, yet so deadly.” I could hear her struggling in the water, her panic palpable. The sight of her fear filled me with joy.

Mikhail gasped as he suddenly remembered what had transpired earlier. Is this a dream?! I'm still alive! I'd have thought the tiny snake was bringing me back as a meal.... Just as Mikhail thought that, he was met face to face with a ginormous serpent. It's eyes shone an even brilliant gold while it's scales looked sturdy with a similar copper shine. Merely standing still as his mind raced, Mikhail thought of all the possible ways he could try to escape. However, neither of the options that came to mind bore a feasible result.

Seeing the bodies of the snake monster on the ground, the giant snake monster roared and raised the pitchfork in its hand. It stabbed directly into the mist. Wilbur saw faint blue lights flashing in the misty sky, seemingly accumulating lightning power toward the tip of the fork.

Could that snake really have been trying to treat me? After that, I heard the man say, "I'm that venomous snake." I was shocked into silence. After a momentary silence, I asked, "Are you a Naga, a half-snake, half-human entity? Was that your snake form?" He nodded. These entities had two forms, animal and human. Only an animal with talent, capability, and good luck could hold a human form, which was why entities like these were rare and valuable in the Riverplain Continent.

The white snake crawled up on my feet, its red crests blazing high. It looked at me like a god looking down at his commoners. "Do you need more water?" The snake could talk, and I saw it open its mouth like a human. So for a moment, the people who speak up are it. It is beyond my imagination. The werewolf world does not have much understanding of other species. What's more, I don't even know how I can hear it. "I'm Mewo. You can call me Mr. Mewo if you want." The snake said.

Its forked tongue flicked out menacingly as it launched itself at him. Chase's expression hardened. This snake was a stage-two martial god monster—an exceptionally formidable creature!
