Sure it was a touch screen, & she could put apps on it, but compared to everyone else's phone, it was a dinosaur. She never complained about anything though, she just looked at the positive side of things, like the fact that she could use her apps over wifi & listen to music.

Then I pulled the door open and walked to the living room and seated on one of the couches was Michael who was using his phone. Standing awkwardly by the end of the passage that led into the living room, I waited for him to notice I was there but he didn't. So I cleared my throat audibly for him to hear and he raised his head to look toward my direction but he didn't say a word while his eyes raked over my body. “I'm ready. We can leave now” I told him when he wouldn't speak and he returned his phone into his pocket before getting up and walking toward me.
