The Alpha's Rose
I say as I feel tears threatening.
“You have worked so hard for this, my little Mad Hatter. And you know where to find us. You won’t ever be alone, sweet pea. We are just a quick phone call or drive away. You’ll see us so much you’ll get sick of us. This is your destiny, Maddie. Not stuck in the circus of River View’s packhouse. I love you, bigger than Pi is infinite and I am so proud of you. I couldn’t have asked for a better daughter. I am so happy the Goddess blessed me with you.” Mama engulfs me in a huge hug, which I can’t say is easy for either of us because of her big belly. One of my siblings takes this moment to kick and it launches me backward.
