After two weeks, It was the day of the fashion gala. The previous two weeks were really hard for Enchant but their hard work paid off as the designs were ready to launch during the ramp walk. Earlier she used to celebrate Thanksgiving with Shanice's family if they stayed in town that is, which was a rare occurrence. Today also Shanice was out in the Maldives to celebrate Thanksgiving with her family.

"Wow, you really surprised me." As we hugged, I glanced around the room, taking in the decorations, the food, and the smiling faces. It was all so thoughtful. "I cannot believe you did all this," I said, trying to sound enthusiastic. Monica beamed with pride. "I wanted to make it special. I know how much you hate celebrating things, but at the same time you enjoy spoiling me so I could not pass on the chance of surprising you." I chuckled, feeling a little guilty for my earlier disappointment. "You know me too well."

Afterward, Monica returned to finish her breakfast and covered her tracks by cleaning all the kitchen utensils she had used. "Finally, one pest has been removed. Now, nothing can stop me from doing whatever I want". Monica walked to the television room. As she watched the broadcast, she accidentally saw that her live video had gone viral everywhere. Nathan's company was being swarmed by the media, and Nathan himself seemed reluctant to show his face.
