The beast spoke in between earthquake inducing growls. It's voice wasn't right either, it was speaking correct but hearing human language come from the vocal chords of a monster was absolutely horrifying. Claude didn't know who the giant monster could be talking to so he decided to stay quiet. Even if he wanted to talk, he'd have to wait for his spine to stop tingling first. The beast took another eerily silent step towards him— causing his body to betray him further as he began to try harder to curl into himself and away from the beast.

It proceeded to pounce on Monica who was still on the ground and before it could sink its teeth into her neck, Leon burst out of the wrecked carriage and held the beast’s jaws in place. I picked up Monica’s spear and copied her movements from her first strike but instead of swing the spear in an upward arc along its side, I aimed for its neck. The beast instantly turned into pile of black sand.

They shifted into their beasts and ran towards the crater where hundreds of creatures from the underworld kept crawling out from. Kendrick crouched and shifted into his enormous spirit beast. His body shuddered violently and his bones popped painfully, wrenching a loud growl from him. His size increased and kept increasing until he was almost as tall as the buildings. He opened his mouth and a loud and powerful roar sounded, echoing through the city. Tabitha and Cassie hid behind the debris of a fallen house and watched the very huge silver beast with shock written all over their faces. They watched as it bounded away, the ground shaking with its weight, its great and terrible claws slashing

Andy's face was ashen, he knew he had no chance against Miles, “I am not l…” Miles started walking towards him, without bothering to say anything to him. Andy stepped back instinctively, “do you want to fight or not?” Miles snorted coldly. Andy gritted his teeth and made up his mind, “you forced me to do this, die!” he roared. The entire mountain around the area collapsed by just his roaring voice, the ground rumbled, like an earthquake was about to happen.

Ferris asked darkly raising the eyebrow. Hazel bit her lips before she looked straight in his eyes, saying, “yes, you are beast. My loving beast.”
