Why go back? I couldn’t quite tell what its skin would look like but from the texture, I could guess it was wet, moldy, and perhaps elastic. The monster’s tongue came out of its head and where its dick would have originally been, there were deadly spikes. Chapter 22: Solo Boss Fight The big black monster smashed into the concrete path with a loud crash that shook the whole wall beneath my feet. The concrete broke under its weight sending small gray rocks bouncing over the edge. Up Close, the monster was really scary. It was over nine feet tall with muscles that looked like wet leather in the dim morning light. It smelled like metal and rotting wood. It did not have hands; its long arms ended in thick curved bones that looked sharp enough to cut through a car engine. Its chest moved as it breathed, blowing a bad smell right into my face.

Yet now, faced with the cruel truth, the pain was unbearable. After saying that, Mom grabbed me by the collar. Her expression twisted with malice as she snarled, "Hand over the money, or don't bother calling me 'Mom'!" I wiped my tears and let out a cold laugh. "Fine." That single word made her freeze. When she came to her senses, a dark, vicious gleam flickered in her eyes. The next second, there was a deafening crack against my skull. Darkness swallowed my vision whole. When I woke up again, I couldn't see a thing.

Her body stiffened, and her eyes widened with shock. “Julie, what’s wrong?” Richard, the male nurse accompanying her, asked with concern. Julie didn’t respond. She ran closer, dropping to her knees beside Elizah’s body. With trembling hands, she removed the cloth covering the girl’s face. In an instant, Julie recoiled, her body trembling violently. “Elizah ....” she whispered in disbelief. “This can’t be.” When Julie tried to embrace her, Elizah screamed in terror. “Aaaah! Monster! Bastard!” she cried, shoving Julie away. Her body twisted wildly, her arms protecting herself as if fighting off a shadow only she could see.

"And next time… don’t come pick me up at such late hours." Feeling deflated, I let out a quiet "Ok." I thought that was the end of our conversation until, just as I stepped out of the car, a whisper, barely louder than the wind, brushed against my ear. "Because you were wronged." … "They’re all mean to me." "I won’t be." "Then will you stand up for me?" "I will." "What?" "I’ll stand up for you. No matter when, no matter what—if you need me, I’ll always come back for you."
