Sir Ares, Goodnight!

Sir Ares, Goodnight!

Yan Anamy rose
“Haha!” Monster suddenly roared with laughter. His voice was deep and sonorous. Jenson and Baby Robbie's complexion changed abruptly. Baby Robbie said, “Where did you learn this move from? It’s useless!” Jenson replied, “The moves aren’t useless, we are.” Monster broke free of the clutch of the silver needles and got up slowly. He flipped open a computer screen with the palm of his hand and revealed a revolver in it. Jenson and Baby Robbie exchanged glances with each other. Baby Robbie said, "It's over, we’re about to die.”

The Mates of Monsters

The Mates of Monsters

"You're a hothead, Nicodra, and a fool." "Untrustworthy," he spits, "unstable... dangerous." "That may be so, but you're the one on your way out," I seethe and plunge the blade into his chest. He yells and coughs until blood spurts from his mouth and trails down his jaw. "It was your mistake-believing you were strong enough." He fights to make words, but the blood clogs his throat. "You're right. We are monsters, but not because we shift into ones, not because the wolf lives inside all of us. What you fear... it's the human."

This is a very good book and can be part of my Recommended List. And for readers like me who like to read reviews first before deciding if they will read the book, this is NOT your TYPICAL werewolf story if you’re like me who loves reading them. BUT it’s very worthy tackling the true concept of MATE

What a delight! Well-written, this story is an expression of the authors maturity in writing and in story telling. Internal dialogue and conflict of our main is the whole story, the tone slightly heavy. Great feminist lead, who has her cake and eats it too! Also the Alpha is pretty great too.

Monsters Among Us

Monsters Among Us

“The room was enveloped in darkness, there was a sound of droplets hitting the ground, the room smelled like a rotting corpse. There was a tapping on the door like someone was baning in morse code. The sound stopped when a large metal door opened a monster showed up. There was a pounding against the wall and one of the lights flickered on, the light brightened the room. But the people in the room were better off not knowing who put them there, the monster walked closer to the people chained and shackled against the wall. They kept screaming why are you doing this to me?'' Let me out. I have a family. Please do not do this to me. The Monster did not say anything to the man he just walked over

The monster's fated prey

The monster's fated prey

"It doesn't distract. It fuels me. It makes the world clearer. We end this together, and then, we see what remains of the world." The enemies regrouped, their leader—a scarred veteran of a dozen campaigns—bellowing at his men. "The bond makes them monsters! Ignore your fear! Kill them both!" Aziel laughed, a sound devoid of mirth, echoing with the cold authority of a king. "Monsters? You have no idea what monsters truly look like." They charged again. The bond hummed with a mix of raw, animalistic fury and a haunting, quiet tenderness that defied the carnage. Aziel protected Lior’s blind spot; Lior neutralized threats before they could even threaten Aziel.

"They think it's funny because of my name. It’s just a joke." "Stay away from them, Rose.” He grabbed my arm, his grip surprisingly strong. “Do you hear me? Those men... they aren't businessmen. They’re monsters. They’re dangerous." "I know, Dad," I whispered, tears stinging my eyes. "I know." But as I drove, all I could feel was the pulsing ache between my legs. I was terrified of them, but God, I was already craving the way they took me. I was a couple of days away from being their captive, and I was already drowning in the need for their touch.

Mated To The Monster Boys

Mated To The Monster Boys

This was the second time I was hearing of this, and when I checked – when I checked, a small chill traveled down my spine. The name whispers through the room like a cold wind. A forbidden legend. A shadow only whispered and heard of in tomes, and archives. He was a sorcerer who should not exist anymore. Vale meets my gaze, his expression grim. “Someone didn’t just attack the Professor. ” he says tightly. “They also left you a message.” I swallow hard. “They left me a message!?” I asked alarmed, my voice coming out sharper than intended. “What kind of message?”

Stuck In A Monster Loop

Stuck In A Monster Loop

After all, no one knew my hiding spots better than I did. Sure enough, tucked away in familiar places, I found two more notes. [The monster's cycle isn't endless. If you can't escape within a set number of loops, you will die. Permanently.] [The monster is cunning and deceptive. It hides well and can take human form. But I suspect it can't kill at will. It must meet certain conditions first. I still haven't figured out what those conditions are.] These, too, were messages I had left for myself—warnings from past loops, reaching across death to keep me alive.

Married To A Monster

Married To A Monster

Not until he’d taken everything from her—the way she took it from them. He stood, buttoning his shirt, the reflection in the window showing a man who looked nothing like the one Zara used to love. That man was gone. What stood here now was something else entirely. A monster reborn. Outside, thunder cracked across the sky the sound of a promise breaking.
