Eyes rolling, breasts heaving with every roll of my hips. A completely immaculate vision. "Sorry to interrupt," came a smirking, gloating voice. "Guess you didn't tell her everything, then did you Cy? Or did you decide to wait until after the Full Moon," tutting like a teacher. Raze. Fucking Raze. Dressed all in black like death itself. Interrupting this most precious of moments. My full moon with Mireille. I swore I locked the door but maybe I forgot when I realised she was still in here. Not like a lock would stop him anyway.

Romaine, though quite unsettled by her stepdaughter’s recent attitude, suddenly halted the car in the middle of the moonlit road. Please don’t tell me this is another of those big bad wolf incidents… Rozelyn privately stated to herself. She’s tired of those paranormal road incidents since her vampire ascension. She hoped this time it's not werewolves feasting and vampires drinking in the middle of the pathway. Perhaps she’d be more delighted if they’ll be bumped by the Annabelle doll or the screeching ghost of Anna Baker. “Don’t tell me it's another wolfie boy again…” Rozelyn gallantly asserted to Romaine.

The rouges paused when her sweet voice turned to ice cold “Well…well…well…you want to know what I’m gonna do?” She asked as she moved a step. Her eyes were glowing gold by now as she told them exactly what she would do “I will kill you and have fun doing it…” She said in a still cold voice. The rouge laughed and then shifted back to wolf form before lunging at her. Rose was quick to grab the rouge by the maw and rip him in half. Blood poured over the ground as she tossed the two halves to the sides. The other rouges growled and crossed the lake to attack her. Rose felt a sharp pain in her abdomen and a gush of fluid hit the ground and run down her leg.

He begins to float a few inches of the ground as he tries to push back my magic. "Zel!" I hear Ri and Klara's shouts echo throughout the cave. Rizor loses concentration as his head snaps back and the dark magic disappears. "I see you brought company," Rizor says and moves in the direction of Ri and Klara's voice. Both of them come out of one of the tunnels and suddenly Rizor smiles showing his pointy teeth. "lumière!" I try to hit him when his back is turned and he turns around in record time whilst deflecting the spell. The spell collides with my stomach and I fall to the ground helplessly.

The monsters are the ones who lose their children and sit down to cry. I do not sit. I take back what’s mine. Yes, Veronica, the spoiled girl, is dead. Crimson Rogue has taken her place.

"The feedback loop will fry your nervous system if you’re the transmitter. I won't let you do it." "You don't have a choice, Julian!" I screamed back, the red light of the 'On Air' sign reflecting in my tear-filled eyes. "Victor is watching. He wants to see if the 'Monster' will choose the girl or the city. If you love me, you’ll help me tell the truth." The studio door creaked open. Okey, the security guard, stood there. But his eyes weren't brown anymore. They were a flat, milky white—the hallmark of a 'Sequence 5' sleeper agent whose "Off" switch had finally been flipped.

“I didn’t get the chance to thank you.” Her breath shook. “Thank me? You kissed me without my permission,” she whispered. “You scared me. And now—now you’re here? Why? What do you want from me?” The corner of his mouth tilted, almost amused. “So you know who I am.” “You’re Adriano Greco,” she said, her voice trembling. “The monster people talk about.” He took another step closer. “Monster?” he repeated softly. “That’s what they call me?”

“This marks the sixth death in two months. The Council has yet to identify the group calling themselves the ‘Rogue Cell,’ led by the mysterious ‘Monster Queen.’ Fear is gripping the Alpha Elite as the killer continues to bypass the most advanced security systems in Nocturna…” I scoffed and muted the screen. "The Monster Queen. What a ridiculous name." "She’s efficient, Kaelen," Silas reminded me. "No DNA. No footprints. Just bodies." The elevator opened to the penthouse of Lord Aaron, a man who had spent his life hoarding riches and looking down on the weak. Now, he was slumped over his desk, his eyes wide with a terror that had frozen on his face. The room was covered in blood. Whoever did
