"They run directly beneath the vault. If we bypass the gate and surface in the armory, we can disable the atmospheric scrubbers. Without the silver-laced air, the guards won't be able to hold their shifts. Their control will shatter."
"And the Blood Moon vanguard?" Diacina asked.
"They're mercenaries," I said, a cold smile touching my lips. "Offer them the gold in the vault, and they’ll turn on Vincent before the first bell tolls."
The plan was surgical. It lacked the honor of a duel, the spectacle of a siege, and the chaos of a hunt. It was, simply, a demolition.
