Morgan Library New York Hours Novels & Stories

Thank goodness, it’s tomorrow. I walk into the office to see Morgan behind her desk hard at work. “I didn’t think I was late,” I say as I stop by her desk. “You’re not, I just came in early. I’m super excited about the party tomorrow night.” She bounces in her seat. “Morgan, are you sure? It doesn’t start until ten in the evening; do you not have to go to church Sunday morning?” Any party that starts that late at night screams trouble and part of me wants to protect her.

He declared while rubbing his stomach. “I think I’m going to head back to the hotel,” Morgan announced. “It is way past this girl's bedtime.” I glance quickly at my watch. Shit. It’s 6:00 am. “Count me out, too,” Dante stated. “Jet lag is kicking my lily-white ass.” “Do you want to share a cab?” Morgan asked Dante. “Of course,” he said, smiling at her. They waved goodbye, and I yelled at them, “Party poopers!” As they walked out the door.

"No, I will have a pleasant meal.at Vertex lodging this evening. "Okay, how about you request that your mother go along? She cherishes the food there." Mavis promptly called Lady Kate as he said it. It was around Six o'clock when Debra and Mavis showed up at Vertex Lodging. Debra plunked down on the couch. She took out her telephone and sent a text to Liam. "Which room is Mr. Morgan in?" Following a couple of moments, Liam answered. "He's in room 2005, on the seventh floor."

She said, pointing a couch at the lobby of his office. “Thank you.” I say as I took a seat and gazed at the view of New York down below. A city that never sleeps. It’s an appropriate nickname. The density, the extended work and retail hours, and the nightlife create an environment that’s essentially around the clock 24 hours a day. There is always some group on the move and on the streets of the city. The quietest the city will ever get is early Sunday morning 5–8am on a holiday weekend. That’s the few hour block where the city sleeps. It seems like thirty minutes have already passed when I heard footsteps approaching me. I turned around and it was indeed Nikolai.

Morgan's voice demanded. I held back a groan. I'd popped a couple of sleeping pills before I went to bed and they hadn't worn off yet, so I wasn't in the right frame of mind to deal with this. “Morgan, it's barely 6 in the morning.” I said. “Yes, and I want to know why your shiny new car is parked outside your decrepit apartment building instead of undergoing an existential crisis next to the target's shinier cars.” He snapped. My drugged self smiled. “That was a nice analogy.”

When he saw Ashley, he slightly raised his hand and motioned to her, Ashley pouted and walked towards him. "Mr. Blackstorm, today is a working day, right? And... at this time, shouldn't you still be busy in the office? Why come to me when you have time?" Morgan has always been a workaholic, and on working days, he often comes home at seven or eight. It's a surprise that he just got off work at 4:00. "Why? You seem to have a problem with me getting off work early! Don't tell me... you want me to work in the office all the time?" Morgan asked.

Younger somehow. I reached up and touched his face. Traced my finger along his jaw. His eyes opened. He looked at me and smiled. "Hey." "Hey," I whispered back. "Did you sleep okay?" "Yeah. You?" "Best sleep I've had in months." His arm tightened around me. "I didn't want to wake you." I felt my face get hot. "What time is it?" Morgan checked his phone. His expression changed. "It's almost midnight."

Where Arabella had once lived. His safe haven. There was no way he was going to let a rando live with him. No way. He checked the time. 12:59am PST. He checked the email once again and saw the time was in ‘PST’. "Does that mean she's not in New York either?" His eyes widened. "What a coincidence.” While he was in New York , all virtual meetings with Interstate branches were usually held around 12pm ET which usually makes it convenient for every branch.

Morgan rubbed the back of his neck as he glanced down at the notes he had made for the new office while back in Orlando. For the past hour, Vince and he had been going over his ideas for how he wanted the place set up and he found he couldn't stop yawning. It had taken him nine hours to travel from Orlando to Biloxi and he hadn't even begun the trip until almost dinner because he had decided to play instead of pack. Once he had shrugged off his annoyance at Jacqui's intrusion, not only into his business but also his personal time, he spent the rest of the night giving Erin a proper goodbye. It was a great idea at first. Not so much that morning. All he wanted to do right now was sleep.
