However, as soon as he moved, she instinctively grabbed his hand, her eyes still closed. "Don't go," she murmured, snuggling closer to his chest. He kissed the top of her head and held her tightly, a smile playing on his lips. It had been so long since he had felt this kind of warmth and connection.
