Kiss It Better
The sliding door opens softly and a familiar sandalwood scent surrounds me, making me smile.
“Morning, borboleta,” Finn murmurs, kissing the back of my neck. I look at him over my shoulder and he leans forward, pressing his lips to my forehead. His beard tickles my nose and I sneeze, making him chuckle.
Finn drapes a blanket around my shoulders and wraps his arms around me, pulling me back against his body. I set my coffee on the railing and snuggle up closer, loving his warmth and silent strength.
We stay like that for long moments, watching the sun burn the morning fog from the water as it rises in the sky. Finn nuzzles into the side of my neck, brushing his lips against my sensitive skin
