One of the women spoke in a tone filled with remorse, pressing her palms and forehead against the ground. Everyone in the courtyard followed suit in unison. “We do not know which grave you are referring to, Ancestor. We beg you—guide your foolish descendants so we may locate that grave and atone for our wrongdoing.” Melya’s hand, which had been gripping the man’s throat, now went limp at her side. She then shifted her gaze toward the woman. A sneer formed at the corner of her lips. “Do you think all of this will end just by cleaning my grave? You’ve left me lonely for far too long!” Melya said, crouching down to spit at the woman who remained kneeling on the ground.

I directed. "No special abilities, hand to hand only," I whispered to Melia before I started their match. She nods her head in acknowledgment. "Fight!" Nikita threw the first move but missed Melia. They do this dance a couple of times before Melia grabbed Nikki, spinning her around and up over her hip, slamming her onto the ground. Everyone gasped but the girls smiled at one another as Nikki found her feet again. They both got in a few good shots before the match was over but Melia had no problem keeping up, which surprised me because Nikki was one of our best she-wolf fighters in the pack.

I remain silent during this process, still not sure what to think about this situation. “Oh, this isn’t good.” Axel exclaims, checking his phone. “I have an alert, the police are looking for a fugitive with telekinetic abilities who may be able to identify a high-risk Abnormal known as a ‘Mimic’.” He looks confused and turns to Myah, “Do you know what a Mimic is?” He asks. She doesn’t show any reaction but simply states; “I can’t think of anything relating to that, CC?” Myah looks towards her sister for a further response,

Well, aside from pretty much all of humanity, Michael Bay for crimes against ‘80’s and ‘90’s pop culture, and Winona Ryder for being a brat. Ever since that run-in with Nick, I have been taking informal daily martial arts lessons from Mary Sue. One major difference between assassins and P.S.K.’s is assassins are fully trained in martial arts. I’d never really had an interest in martial arts before, but after getting my ass handed to me by Nick in Duluth, I reluctantly admitted it might be a worthwhile skill to take up, because even before he joined T.H.E.M. as an assassin he was already a deadly martial arts expert. I didn’t want to have to see Mary Sue anymore than absolutely necessary, but

Liam didn't want to take Mila seriously at first, because after all he didn't want to hurt this woman, but apparently he couldn't do that if he really wanted to win the fight. Mila was so good at wielding her sword and even Liam didn't think that she still remembered some of the moves he taught her, considering that this girl had been unconscious for fifty years when she was in the hands of those human bastards. The fight between Liam and Mila looked interesting and Mila was not at all like a typical noble girl. She was very persistent and strong. She was good at taking advantage of situations and also created opportunities for herself to take advantage of Liam's weaknesses.

She just reached out and grabbed her doll intimately, as if she was super scared to let it go. Helene laughed heartily when she saw her daughter's behavior. "What is it that you are constantly terrified of, my dear? Your doll will never leave you. Take a seat and let's eat. Melpomene could perhaps sit right next to you so you can keep a watchful eye on her," she proposed. Jasmine heeded her mother's instruction and positioned her doll on the empty seat next to her. She gripped her mother's hand, which surprised Helene, and shifted her gaze to her daughter, who was also clutching the doll's hands on the other.

“We’ve tried to reach Erika and Veletta in the ethereal realm but I don’t think it has ever crossed their minds that we could meet there from any distance. Veletta is an inexperienced wolf. I’d have sought her in the wolf domain. If her mind has never prompted her all this while to search for us in the ethereal realm, then it’s safe to say she won’t also search the wolf domain.” “This is so disheartening,” I sighed, looking up at the roof above me. “Now, I wonder if we’re first going to die from starvation before she comes to kill us. I can’t even shift again.” “Don’t spend your energy talking. There could still be hope,” Alek said to me. “Look how pitiful you look, Alpha Killian,” a voice c

Right at that moment, as they stared back at each other, Ellaine knew that she was and preferred to call herself Inwë. She heard loud grunts of men, clash of swords, explosion of spells, and shouts of pain. The war was she against the Dark Child, the Lenriad troops against the poisonous Noimstre and the Leprechauns, and Margarette with the dragons against Murdathes—a pretty tight match. Inwë guarded her thoughts and closed her mind. She prevented too much of eye movement. That way, Ánië won’t be able to read her thoughts.

She shouted with an ugly expression, “Waltz, do you want to die? Just because you sit as president in Thousand Miles, do you think you can just step all over the head of our Coleman family?! Have you lost your mind? Although Thousand Miles is California’s underground king, it’s just because the Colemans disdain being part of that circle. Do you see who this is? He is a master from the Missouri Colemans, the youngest Earth Expert level warrior. One of him can kill a thousand of you, and you still won't kneel and bow your head?” “The one who should kneel is you! I see that you're the one looking for death instead!”

But it was no use, just in time when her name was called, she closed her eyes hard as she heard who her opponent was…Yulli Krieger. Darn! This must be an unlucky day for her. She hardly breathed out as she walked towards the vast battlefield. She followed Yulli, and her vision caught his clenched fist as he strolled near the stage. Malaika saw Alleki standing up from his seat on the corner of the stage when their names were called. The Commander was also surprised, but she nodded when their eyes met. Truth be told, she never defeated Yulli even during their sparring. Although there were times that he only let her win.
