Most Dangerous Game Novels & Stories

Just… the end. Between Mateo and Trey, if I had to choose the most dangerous one, I’d say it’s Trey. Mateo is wicked, yes, but Trey… Trey is unpredictable. You never know what he’ll do next. He plays games with people’s lives like it’s nothing. That makes him even more dangerous.

she is the prey. Noah returns to his seat, his eyes never leaving her face. The necklace sparkles, but Sienna can barely meet his gaze. She knows this is all a game to him, a dangerous game with her at the center. And yet, she’s still here, unable to run, unable to break free.

That name, which was supposed to serve as an endearment is a form of slow agonising torture to him and this man, this criminal, had called it in a deliciously dark way. Dimitri caged him between his hand and repeated his question. “Do you know what the basis of a game is?” He stared.into his dark orbs, letting him see the defiance in his blue-green eyes. However, his eyes widened as Dimitri leaned in, just enough for their noses to graze. “It starts with two teams, two people, two enemies, two friends.” With each stall, Dimitri rubbed his nose on Vincent's. “And do you know what's common between the two?” He asked again.

Sometimes the most dangerous game isn't knowing who to trust-it's deciding what you're willing to risk in order to protect them. Because Scarlett laughed and said the game needed to be more exciting. So he pressed the button. Vicious patrol dogs hunted me. My water broke, mixing with blood on the ground. I was in agony. The game hit its climax as more dogs and gunmen closed in from all sides. Everyone was betting on who would be the next to die. Alex smiled, his voice a low, careless drawl, "I’ll bet on that filthy pregnant woman to die."

I move closer. Because the more dangerous something is, the more valuable it becomes. And if there’s one thing about me that never changes— I don’t walk away from what I want. Even if it destroys me. Especially then.

He knew exactly what he looked like, and how that was affecting me. Attraction aside, I would never forget the type of man he was. He wasn't in league with actual Darkness like Nadia, but that did not make him pure and good as a whole. Washed in shades of grey, as the voices in the cavern had once told me. Dain Viotto, or the Game Master as he had become over the course of one hundred and seventy years, was the most dangerous person in this world.
