It released a loud cry of pain and staggered backwards, clawing at my back and swinging itself wildly in a bid to get me off it, but I was relentless.
I tried to not pay attention to its metallic, bitter blood running into my mouth and tongue, and sunk my canines deeper, ripping apart a crucial artery.
Blood spurted from the large tear, and I finally released it when I was certain that the bite I had given it would definitely get the job done. For good measure I slashed at it with my claws. If the bite didn't do the job well, then the poison would.
A couple of seconds later, its giant form dropped to the ground with a reverberating thud, lifeless. Defeated.
