Palmer's Dance
“Good, son. Because she will need you now.”
They both arrived at the ranch, and Palmer was already there, leaning against the fence, looking at Misty and Jackal running around and playing. She couldn’t contain a smile, but it was not a happy one.
Christopher got out of the truck and slowly walked towards Palmer. He leaned against the fence, looking at the horses with her.
“I love coming out here to watch them run around. The way the sun kisses their coat, and the way they show how happy they are. It’s just beautiful,” Palmer started as she covered herself with her sweater.
