Chase bank is always bubbling with several official activities. Mia sits on a wooden-like metal chair and far across her is Mr. Park. The room they are occupying is a mini-vast empty room occasionally used for interviews and it’s well painted with light gray. “You are so lucky. Mr. Liam has already stopped recruiting.” Park informs her, sounding as if he wasn’t pleased about the turn ups. “At least he listened to the lady he claims never to have feelings for.” she snorts annoyingly and Park smirks.

“Mr Damon, ah it's good to see you this morning. I'm glad you're here.” “What’s the matter now? You never come to welcome me by yourself unless there's an issue.” I replied, bored. He chuckled a little, scratching the back of his head while hurrying to match my pace. “We might be having a little issue with the records. The financial records, and we cannot meet with any new investors until we sort this out. I hear you're supposed to have a meeting later today. Can it be—” “Postponed?” I demanded, cutting him off. “No, it cannot. Figure something out. You're the CFO for a reason, or is there a need to consider someone else?”

The mug of beers clicked together while Camille simply took in water. “I guess Ms Camille doesn’t take alcohol?” Mr Willow, 4Nine manager asked her as she simply nod. “Yes. My secretary is getting drunk and I need to drive myself home. I can’t get drunk,” She said and took in water, the man gulped down a glass of liquor. “You’re very considerate,” Willow mumbled with a smirk. “So, tell me about your CEO, surprisingly enough, we haven’t met since we signed this deal. Is she very busy?” Camille asked and Willow scoffed.

My only fear had been ending up with a man who actually wanted this marriage, but knowing he did not, gave me the confidence I needed. I picked up my pace, knowing I would be late to my first class. Today was the first day of my master’s in finance, and lectures started in an hour. My best friend, Olivia texted me , *how did it go? Give me all the tea!* My smile faded when Dawson's text came in right after. *Did you call it off? What did he say Red, I have your fucking location, I can see you leaving, stop fucking ignoring me* I sighed. Dawson was stressed so I understood his reaction.

Rebecca said trying to persuade him. "Even I agree sir, A worker like Chef Grots is by far our best chef and experienced man, if we fire him we loose him to a better company or worse him starting his own restaurant". Xander spat as they all chuckled. They all made their way to the meeting room when they heard someone laughing. They turned their faces to the source of the voice and were greeted by the face of Mr. Williams and his elder son, Marcus Williams, who had nothing on his face except a scowl. It even seemed he was forced to the meeting. Jade's eyes jet with Marcus, the two of them looked at each other as if they want to kill each other. “Greetings to Mr. Westwood and his family.” Mr. Williams said with a smile on his face.

“There's no need to be so formal. You can call me Amelia. Thanks for the coffee” “Sure. Meanwhile, you have a meeting with the executive by 2pm. The CEO himself will be there” Naomi said, flipping the pages of the file she was holding. “Alright”. At 2pm, Amelia was already seated in the meeting room. There were many executive members present at the meeting ground. In less than ten minutes, it was announced that the CEO had arrived. “Let me introduce the CEO of Miller's exclusive designing company, Mr. Richard Miller” His secretary announced as they applauded him.

I smile at him and then say: — Good evening. A table for two, please. — Whose name is the reserve, ma'am? — Carlos Salazar...? The maître d' stares at his computer for a long time, and I think I probably kicked his name wrong. He then smiles at me and says: — Accompany me, Miss Penedo. Mr. Salazar is already waiting for you.

He couldn't even digest most of the food in his mouth, because he was really stressed out. The men he sent to capture Kelly, none of them had returned, and this was putting him at the edge of his seat. Mr Brooks couldn't endure any more of the pressure, so he rose from the dining chair he was sitting on, and used his hands to scatter the remaining food on the floor. He was taken aback because of the sudden clapping of hands. “Well done, Mr Brooks. You're a pro when it comes to trashing food”. Alastair continued clapping, and was also grinning, as he complimented.
