“And the daughter…” Jason asked, snapping his fingers as he tried to remember. “What was her name…”
Our drinks just arrived. Two tall glasses, filled with a mix of rum and grape cocktail.
“Sabrina,” I said, helping Jason recall.
“Yes,” Jason nodded, raising his glass to his lips.
“I can forget, but you can’t,” he added with a look that lingered a bit too long.
