The light remained dim, but not far ahead, there appeared to be an open area. A sharp glint flashed in Nathanial's eyes. He knew his chance had come. He quietly stopped, took a small stone from his sleeve. The stone was pitch black, covered with strange runes, and emitted a faint Evil Aura. With a flick of his finger, the stone shot silently into the darkness ahead. With a soft 'bang,' the stone landed on the ground, making a sound that was neither too loud nor too soft.
