“Oh man, I walked on gum,” Nate complained as we walked into the History of Werewolfism. It was one of the more boring classes at Lycan University. It didn’t help that the teacher was really yawnsome. Nate was dragging his foot on the floor as I tried to find a free chair for us. Putting this class at the end of the day was almost cruel. My brain hurt. I found a place at the back, near the old bunsen burners–for whatever reason, likely fund cuts, this class was held in the science room.

Though this new path added five more days to the trip, it was safer and smoother, better suited for Lyra, a fragile she-wolf who deserved care and protection. But that wasn’t the only reason. This path passed by a special place, a small cave deep within Gloomwood where Raven and Cara, who was now Lyra, had once lived happily together. Raven had heard that the Potion of Oblivion, the memory-erasing elixir Lyra had taken, wasn’t permanent. With the right stimulus, the memories could return little by little. He hoped the first ones to resurface would be the beautiful moments they once shared.

The man looked comfortable with the silence so she let herself relax and just laid her head on the headrest. The car passed through reddish- brown dried leaves covering the woods earth. Since Autumn is finally approaching and oh, of course, University classes will soon start. But instead of feeling light after the recovery, she couldn't help but wait and watch the woods they are passing through. Aiming to look out for the exact same spot where Dr. Hampton told her the couple had seen her lying.

The air buzzed with excitement and anticipation, and I couldn't help but be swept up in the energy. This was it – a fresh start, a blank canvas waiting to be painted with new experiences, friendships, and knowledge. As the days unfolded, I threw myself into the whirlwind of university life. The first week was a kaleidoscope of orientations, campus tours, and the flurry of faces that would soon become familiar. Eveeryone was nice here and I wanted to befriend them all.

They’ll be a hell of a lot better than us if they do.” We all know the truth though. Lycanthropy is a curse. There is no way to control it. But I knew what I was fighting for. Not revenge. Not glory. Not destiny. I was fighting for every smile shared at Willowbrook Academy. For every kingdom we had saved. For every friend standing beside me. For every child who deserved to see tomorrow. Erevan slowly lifted the Blade of Oblivion. Darkness gathered around him until entire galaxies vanished within its shadow. "Come," he said quietly. "Show me the answer Solarius searched for... but never found." Without another word, Wesley and I charged. Our wings of silver and gold spread wide behind us.
