Soup Shop Mystery

Soup Shop Mystery

A moment later, a piece of paper slid through the narrow gap beneath my door. The footsteps retreated in haste. I peered through the peephole. The hallway was empty. I didn't touch the note, afraid of smudging fingerprints. Instead, I crouched and read the words on it: I know the truth about Edmund's death. Come to the big banyan tree in Greenfield Residences at 11 p.m. Don't call the police. The note was crafted with meticulous care—letters cut out from newspapers and books, pieced together like a ransom demand, leaving no trace of handwriting.

Wolf shifter romance with murder mystery

Wolf shifter romance with murder mystery

"The kind where three more bodies showed up overnight. All council loyalists. All killed the same way, throats torn out, that symbol carved into their shoulders." Sera sits up, clutching the sheet. "But we arrested Victoria." "Exactly." Dante's already getting dressed. "Which means either she has an accomplice we don't know about, or—" "Or she's not the only killer." They dress quickly, Sera borrowing clothes from Dante's closet. Everything's too big, but she doesn't care. They're out the door in ten minutes. The drive to the first crime scene takes them to the edge of pack territory. Yellow police tape surrounds a small cabin—one of the council's meeting houses.

The Pumpkin Head Murder

The Pumpkin Head Murder

“When we found him, he was dead.” Daniel cut me off. “In his own home. Murdered. “Time of death was around four yesterday afternoon. Before your company even left for the escape room. “The weapon was an axe. “And on the doorknob of his apartment, we recovered a fingerprint.” Daniel lifted a fingerprint comparison report. The red markings made my eyes ache. “After analysis, that fingerprint… belongs to you.”

Resisting The Savage Alpha Brothers

Resisting The Savage Alpha Brothers

MALACHI By dawn, the grim reality of the night’s events began to surface. Reports of multiple murders trickled in, each more gruesome than the last. The police had already cordoned off the crime scenes, but the details leaked out: the killings were the work of a single, methodical individual. Each victim had been mutilated, their hearts surgically removed and their bodies mangled, with several key bones missing from the skeletal remains. The motive was a void, and the selection of homes seemed entirely random, scattered across the territory with no discernible pattern.

Framed for Murder by My Husband

Framed for Murder by My Husband

"Who are the family members of the patient? We received a report from the hospital and need to look into the situation." Sophie immediately lunged at them. "Officers! It's her! My daughter-in-law! She went over to give my mother-in-law medicine yesterday! She murdered her!" The officers turned their gazes to me. "Miss, did you deliver medicine to the deceased yesterday?" "I did, but—" "Where is the pill bottle now?" Leon finally spoke up, his voice chillingly calm. "Officers, the bottle should still be on the coffee table at my grandma's place. It's bound to have my wife's fingerprints on it, since she's the one who was taking care of it."

After My Sister's Murder, I Went Mad

After My Sister's Murder, I Went Mad

He wondered what he had done so wrong. He killed his beloved dog for me, kicked out all the dogs he kept, distanced himself from other long-legged beauties, and even married me. I sliced through a bloody steak. I looked at him tied to an electric chair and said coldly, “I love watching my prey die slowly. I’ve been doing it since I killed my first bird at the tender age of three. “Too bad that I don’t have any prey around anymore. I kind of forgot what that felt like. But Dominic, you’ve helped me find that part of myself again.”

True Love? True Murderer?

True Love? True Murderer?

The policemen, realizing something was off from their conversation, brought them in. One of the policemen addressed Clifford, "Mr. Holmes, based on what we know, your wife was hospitalized after she developed lobar pneumonia. She passed away the night before Easter. The hospital explained that her death was a result of a heart attack triggered by emotional turmoil, but things seem to be more complicated from the conversation you shared with Ms. Harding."

Lost Heir of the Pack

Lost Heir of the Pack

Maybe I can read something to pass the time and occupy my mind for a bit. 0 I read through their titles and they definitely have a favorite genre. ‘The Hound of the Baskervilles’, ‘Murder on the Orient Express’, ‘The Woman in White’, ‘The Maltese Falcon’. I sense a mystery theme here and I wonder if it’s Stefan or his wife that’s the fan. I keep looking when I see a book that is quite out of place. ‘What To Expect: A Mother’s Guide To Her First Pup’ 0

Bound By A Dare, Rejected By The Alpha

Bound By A Dare, Rejected By The Alpha

I push them open, praying no one hears. I step inside with a deep breath. My eyes move along the shelves. Scrolls, ledgers, old volumes stacked orderly. My fingers trail over each, as I try to make sense of which would be close to what I am looking for. My heart beats louder, until finally. There. Hidden behind a heavier book, lies a ledger bound in cracked leather. My pulse races as I pull it out, clearing of the dust. I flip page after page. Each page talks about past murders and deaths records of different kinds, some with number markings, some with letter markings, some with no markings at all and then... spiral markings.

The Alpha's Fight for His Omega

The Alpha's Fight for His Omega

He was going to be graduating a few months after Jessie, and I. I enjoyed getting to know so much about him. He was a nice guy, and seemed really good for Jessie. She was funny, and quirky, but not in the way Norm was. She was the queen of one liners, and could think of something on the spot. I was a little surprised to find out she enjoyed books about murder mysteries though. She said she liked trying to figure out who did it. Her favorite series was about a human woman who was a coroner. Not exactly my type of books, but I made note of the series to tell Rowen about it. He might like it.

Author has responded, this book is NOT continued on another app. I went back to try and find it on that app but it is now gone from my library. This IS the full book and is not continued elsewhere. Sorry that I misspoke. Loved this story & wish author had more books to enjoy.
