Lost Heir of the Pack

Lost Heir of the Pack

Maybe I can read something to pass the time and occupy my mind for a bit. 0 I read through their titles and they definitely have a favorite genre. ‘The Hound of the Baskervilles’, ‘Murder on the Orient Express’, ‘The Woman in White’, ‘The Maltese Falcon’. I sense a mystery theme here and I wonder if it’s Stefan or his wife that’s the fan. I keep looking when I see a book that is quite out of place. ‘What To Expect: A Mother’s Guide To Her First Pup’ 0

Bound By A Dare, Rejected By The Alpha

Bound By A Dare, Rejected By The Alpha

I push them open, praying no one hears. I step inside with a deep breath. My eyes move along the shelves. Scrolls, ledgers, old volumes stacked orderly. My fingers trail over each, as I try to make sense of which would be close to what I am looking for. My heart beats louder, until finally. There. Hidden behind a heavier book, lies a ledger bound in cracked leather. My pulse races as I pull it out, clearing of the dust. I flip page after page. Each page talks about past murders and deaths records of different kinds, some with number markings, some with letter markings, some with no markings at all and then... spiral markings.

Resurrected (Book #9 in the Vampire Journals)

Resurrected (Book #9 in the Vampire Journals)

Caitlin dove into the book, scanning through, turning the pages as fast as she could, looking for any mention of vampires, of how to heal or cure one, how to bring one back to normal life. As she began to read, she suddenly slowed down. She went back and read it again. Then again. Her heart started beating with hope. She could tell right away that this book was very different than the others. This, of all the books, felt the most real to her, the most scholarly, the most impartial. It wasn’t filled with hyperbole and myth and wild stories told by grandmothers. This one was written, paradoxically, by a bishop, in the 16th century. Also a doctor, he had seen dozens of inexplicable cases of cor

I am his best friend who has been in love with him for fifteen years when I should be using this time to get over him. I patted the sofa, dusted the shelves and put my books in a row. I am a bibliophile and a strong one at that. Sherlock Holmes and Augustus Dupin are by far my most favourite ones, me being a fan of mystery thrillers. I am such an addict of criminal profiling that I actually have list and screenshots of wanted criminals or serial killers on my phone. Serial killings were always my favourite ones, as they have something In common and it always piqued my curiosity as to why there are still serial killers like Jack the Ripper or Stripper on lease. I guess not

This book is so good, it makes you want to laugh, keeps you at suspense and makes you emotional at the same time. Loved the characters, each have drastic original personalities. Though the book started kind of simple and too cliche at first, it turned out to be one of my favorite reads on GoodNovel!

Briar Reef Murder Mystery

Briar Reef Murder Mystery

That right there is the only reason he wasnÕt buying into the idea that she was hiding something, that and the fact that theyÕd found nothing to confirm such suspicions. He was beginning to wonder more and more as the day went by just what was happening to his town. In the space of a few months, thereÕve been two murders when there had never been one in his whole lifetime. Not only that, but neither murder had been of the ordinary garden variety. Both had been gruesome and way over the top as far as he was concerned.

Under The Moonlight

Under The Moonlight

There were a few articles of clothing littering the floor, but Lissa quickly picked those up and placed them in the hamper on the inside of Rose's closet. There were a few non-textbook books sitting on her desk, the subjects ranged from mythical dragons and spy academies, to the psychology of serial killers and a few classics. I'm not sure what surprised me more, the fact that Rose had read The Picture of Dorian Gray or that she seemed to have a fascination with serial killers. Knowing Rose's intelligence level, I decided it was the serial killers. I picked up one of the books on the most macabre killers to exist, trying to ignore Lissa digging in Rose's underwear drawer as she pulled out br

His Mate's Silent Cry

His Mate's Silent Cry

Books started to float from the shelves and some covered by dust were already whispering their chronicles early in her ears. —In a definite circle, books began to fall everywhere in the spacious room. Her savagely vicious moves made a victorious win by murdering the light in the library, as the light on her palm went off all at once. Many of the books had a black pigment that was harshly devouring them amidst a world with no identity. "I did it!" She screamed totally after pausing to the last step of her moves. Her eyes were wide awakened by contentment and boast. With quickened footsteps, she dashed to the shelf and found only two books still laying.

HIS VICIOUS REVENGE | BOOK 2

Images from the past, reminiscences from when they first met, flashbacks from the times they had spent together, and lastly images from yesterday when he raped her. Shivers ran down her spine as she remembered last night. She could still feel his lips leaving hungry kisses down her body, still feel his hands groping her breasts and touching her thighs, touching her down there, she could still hear his lustful growls. Emma closed her eyes and cried. She could still feel his touch on her body. 'You're easy to read.' More tears rolled down her cheek as she recalled his words. He had always read her exceptionally well then what happened last night?
