He watched as the hatch on the motorhome's roof burst open, and a dense swarm of tiny black dots rose into the sky like a hive of killer bees, blotting out the sun as they split into five separate squadrons, diving with unstoppable momentum toward the five remaining formations. "Drones! It's a suicide drone swarm!" Raven's shrill scream tore through the comm channel, "Shoot them down! Now!"

I ask, still not looking. “Not well,” he says, voice strained. “But, yeah. I do. They were good kids.” Tears prick at my eyes. What sort of monsters would do such a thing? Come in here and murder innocent people? “Brynn,” I gasp. Brynn’s dorm is on this floor. Like almost everyone else, she must have been sleeping when the Silver Hunters attacked. With a smirking, cold dominant voice, he spoke on the intercom, “We don’t have any vervain for the vampires, but that doesn’t matter with the use of our new weapon, all of them will kneel.” He declared and soon activated the death drones. The drones flew in every direction. They swarm like flies, hundreds of them looking for a pack of wolves to unleash their deadly silver gas on them.

Deep inside the building— Hidden compartments opened. Small black drones lifted into the air. Silent. Fast. Daniel watched the security feed. “…okay that’s cool.” The blast barrier finally collapsed. The assassins stepped through. And immediately— Three drones shot down the hallway toward them. The first assassin raised his rifle— But the drones were faster. Electric pulses fired. The men dropped instantly. Unconscious. The hallway went quiet. Inside the penthouse Daniel slowly lowered the chair. “…I officially love this building.” Sebastian and Marcus arrived seconds later.
