Murder Drones Unresolved Chapter 3 Novels & Stories

He placed a chip on it, then he opened a smaller part of his backpack and pull out a remote with a small display screen in the middle. “Ok, let's see what's inside”. He said as he taps a button, gradually the drone fly higher as we watch it move into the building through a broken window. Larry's eyes were fixed to the screen, while I stare at the door trying not to look around, the sight of the corpses terrifies me. After what seem like half an hour, the drone finally lands in front of Larry. “All clear, it's safe to go in” Mel pulled the door handle vigorously, she sighed and let go, then she points her gun to it, but Eddy holds her hand before she pulls the trigger.

But how did he find us? “You can come out now, losers!” he shouted, laughing like a madman. “You really thought you could run away with my money? I’m the Alpha of this pack. Nothing happens without me knowing. You played yourselves!” Mom looked at Dad. They didn’t speak, but the look they shared said everything: This was it. “We’re dead,” Dad whispered in a broken voice. “No!” Mom snapped fiercely. “Not yet.” Dad shook his head. “We’re surrounded, Belinda. There’s nothing we can do—”

" When she said this, Vivian herself didn't even notice that her eyes were fluttering, and her body betrayed her heart. Winston stared at Vivian's face. "Of course not. She, a betrayer, got no gut to come back." Vivian subconsciously let out a sigh of relief. However, everyone was surprised by Winston's words. "I got the DNA test results. "The deceased is Aryanna."

Then moved on. Silence returned. But it wasn’t the same silence. Now it was watching. Waiting. Victor moved first again, rising slowly, scanning the perimeter before continuing forward. They followed. Deeper into the forest. Further from anything familiar. Evelyn’s voice came quietly. “How many?” Victor didn’t look back. “Rotating patrol. Three drones in this sector.” “Patterns?” “Unpredictable.” “That’s not helpful.” “It’s intentional.” Damian exhaled slowly.

Rudy bites my mark and I groan as we call the wind and the remains of the helicopter lifts into the air. With a twist of my hand, I send it cascading into the rock face before us, and it smashes with a roar of falling stone, smashing into a thousand lightning-struck pieces of ignited metal and plastic. Even as the entrance to our hiding place is hidden, closed away irrevocably, I can see the fire taking everything else, including the first drones who do not have much to record other than the smoldering remains of what had once been our way out. “Not enough,” Rudy murmurs, feeling everything through me and our connection. “The drones.”

“I quit running.” I rotated my hand. The bolt spun around. It hit the chest of the drone. The machine shuddered, sprayed, and exploded in a hail of metal and fire. It was still on the riverbed. The third drone moved away and rose in the air. Then it vanished in the clouds like something that never was. “Why did it not attack?” Malek asked, still gazing at the burning wreck. I dropped upon my knees in weariness. ****** We crouched in the ancient riverbed till darkness crept in through the trees.

But her words struck a chord, stirring a memory I couldn’t quite grasp—something about a late-night conversation with the visitor, months ago, when they’d spoken in riddles about power, about secrets hidden in plain sight. Before I could ask more, a low hum cut through the rain—not a chopper this time, but a drone, its red lights blinking as it hovered above the alley. Scar cursed, raising his rifle, but the drone was fast, darting out of sight before he could fire. A second later, a sharp crack echoed, and the pavement exploded ten feet away, showering us with gravel.

I needed to slow this down because mother hood was something I wanted to wait for. "We got mated so quickly, and I'm still trying to figure out my abilities and-" I was interrupted by a knock at the door. It was Iris and he looked panicked. "What the hell Iris?! Someone better be fucking dying!" Holden yelled and slammed his hand hard on his desk causing me to jump. "Alpha, we have a problem. There has been drones sighted 30 clicks west of the house." Iris said. Drones? Should I tell him about the one by the lake today? Did it even matter if I said anything?

The mutilated corpses of Taloren’s Chosen littered the ground as the drones dismantled each of them with surgical precision. One of the Drogar screamed in absolute pain as one of the drones dug its hind claws into him while it used its talons to slice him to ribbons. He was literally held down while he was disemboweled alive. The Drogar’s compatriot was on the ground next to him, completely frozen with fear. His hands shook so intensely that he could barely keep his gun trained on the drone. Just as he gathered enough courage to steady his aim, a bullet shot right through the side of his head in a flash.

he muffles and another gasps escapes from their mouths followed by low sobs. "No, my... brother...can't be dead" Julia sobs. "Tell us this is some prank and...." "My son isn't dead. He's alright and he'll come walking through that door very soon, you'll see" Kylie's mom cut Kylie mid-sentence. It was too painful to believe her son was dead. "Drake was murdered last night at Anna's apartment and Anna has gone missing and....." Jay's words went hanging as he saw Drake's mom collapsed on the chair. "Mom, mom" Kylie and Julia cries in panic shaking their mom's unconscious body. Jay stood up and picked up her hand.
