My eyes were glued to Claire, her every move more captivating than any view. After a while, Liam disappeared ahead of us. Taking my chance, I caught up to Claire and grabbed her hand again. Her small, delicate hand trembled in mine, but she didn’t pull away this time. “Claire, what are you still worried about? Liam’s nowhere in sight. It’s just us now. “You won’t regret it. I promise to never let you down,” I said earnestly. “Noah, from today onward, you’re my boyfriend.” It seemed Claire had made up her mind.

The club was alive with pounding bass and flashing lights, a perfect escape for anyone wanting to lose themselves in the rhythm. But for me, the music was just noise, and the lights only made the shadows in my mind darker. I had come here with my friends to try and forget, to drown my sorrows in a sea of strangers, but the recent betrayal was too fresh. My boyfriend—no, my ex-boyfriend—had been cheating on me. That was the first full sentence I ever said in minutes. Cole gave a slothful nod. "Sooooo....." He rotated his head to the back and saw Kieran strolling towards us. "Who's that guy?" I lifted my eyelashes to take in Kieran's appearance as he took slow strides to meet me here. One way I could win Cole was to let him know that I have moved on and gotten into another relationship. I responded, thinking he called me. ‎ ‎"No, darling," he said, "I'm not calling you. My girlfriend is Kourtney over here." ‎ ‎Everyone, including myself, froze. "Kourtney and I have been together for a few weeks now, and we're considering taking things to the next level, you know, a man's gotta settle." ‎ ‎I was too stunned to speak. I stood there like a water fountain fixed to a spot, my eyes wide open like I'm in a scary movie. The saliva in my mouth dried up, and I felt like my throat was burning.

Liza’s eyes were red as she blistered on in anger. Immediately Mike heard Liza mentioning Tom’s name, he felt weak and tired instantaneously. “Tom?” He asked dazedly. “Yes Mike, Tom! I still held her close to me, i dont care whatever she said all that matters were the both of us.

She turned to Sarah again, "Please do visit again." "That's a sure thing." Sarah smiled and made her way out. "I will talk to you later." Sam got uttering in a lower tone with an assuring smile. Hina nodded and Sam also followed Sarah out. As they hopped in a taxi, Sarah turned to Sam, "What's the matter? Do you know her from before?" "Hmm.. You can say that. She is.." With an amused expression, Sarah cut in between, "Your girlfriend?" Sam gave her an incredulous look, "What did you say?"
