Then the animal inside of me took over, and I lunged towards the big cat, with my own teeth wrenching into a snarl.
The pain in my leg flashed bright red in my brain, and it powered my attack. The cat’s claws scratched down my arm, ripping open my bare, white skin. Then I plunged my teeth into its neck, locking my thin arms around it, and its struggles became weaker and weaker.
