I screamed as I backed away bringing my legs up to my chest and wrapping my arms around them. “I’m your fucking Mate, and I want to punish you for letting another male take what is mine.” He leaned down his dark brown eyes flickering back and forth to black. I snap at Cahya as he exits the room, my eyes never leaving the two of them. “Enough Alpha Elio, you’re hurting my mate!” Matthew snaps, challenging me as I look at his mate. She is pale, wincing in agony, and looks as if she is about to be sick. I retract my aura and see her take a deep breath as he uses his one good hand to pat her knee.

His eyes dart to me, filled with panic, but he has nowhere to run. Without hesitation, I seize him by the neck, hoisting him off the ground as though he weighs nothing. His hands scramble against my grip, futile and trembling. My claws extend, sharp and deadly, slicing into his flesh.
