She asked. “Um. His name is Rodri Darnell.” I said, watching her reaction. She placed a hand on her chin, as if trying to remember where she had heard the name before. All of a sudden, she gasped and fixed a wide stare at me. “No way. No fucking way, Vanessa. Are you talking about The gorgeous as fuck Rodri Darnell of the Dolphin Group?!” I nodded and she let out a shocked scream. “What?! That man is a billionaire! From a family of billionaires! Do you know that? His father literally owns half of this city!”

I earned a lot of money and my boss entrusted me with more of the company branches to manage as the head. I didn't know my boss was slowly dying of cancer. He never married. My father had already passed on and I was just living with my mother, the only family I had. My boss handed all his company and fortune to me making me a trillionaire overnight.
