My Drill Will Pierce The Heavens Novels & Stories

I shouted again and again, each cry louder than the last. The ground beneath me began to quake violently, cracks splitting open as light burst through them. The mist swirled into a wild storm, and the barren trees groaned like dying beasts. I shielded my face with my hands, my tears mixing with the dust as the world itself seemed to tremble at her name. Then, from the heavens above, a silver light pierced the gray sky. Slowly, another being descended, bathed in a glow so radiant that the shadows themselves fled from her presence.

The material world spread around them in all its honest variable complexity and his form was fully present in it and Eve was beside him and behind them their chosen family walked and ahead was everything that had no name yet. He breathed it in. Behind them, across the distance that was rapidly becoming the past, the crystal spires of Heaven rang with frequencies that had never passed through their architecture before. Not the prescribed harmonics of the celestial order, not the discordant ringing of the last seven nights as the structure processed the tremors from Eden. Something new, something that had been generated by the week's events and was now moving through the celestial hierarchy li

I shook my head, and realized that I heard a whirring, hissing, grinding sound echoing through the ballroom. “Thank you for your time, my queen,” said Salem, even as the whirring sound became inexplicably loud. Even the queen noticed it, her eyes narrowing in confusion. “Just what is that bloody noise?” she asked, a second before the floor cracked open. I whirled around. Chunks of tile tilted upwards as something penetrated from below. It was a drill—a massive, ever-spinning drill. It rose from the ground, impaling a vampiress who spun around and around on its tip, writhing and shrieking in pain. Dust and rubble sprayed as the drill rose, revealing an iron tube at its base.

He looked at the burning mark on his palm — now shaped like a sword. “I think we were born because of them.” Outside, voices rose in a stadium across town. A popular influencer turned evangelist led a crowd in declarations of wealth and dominance. Cameras flashed. The gospel was drowned in hashtags. But far above, in a place no drone could reach, the heavens trembled. A voice thundered across realms. “Let the false fire fall. Let the remnant rise.” The blueprint glowed. And somewhere in the dark, a hidden intercessor whispered one phrase into the night:

My breath caught as realization hit. “They’re drones,” I whispered. The night sky bloomed alive as thousands of tiny lights danced above us, swirling, spinning, shaping themselves into patterns. It was beautiful. Magical. And then the drones began to form words. Letters glowing against the Paris sky. The words in the sky began to shift, glowing brighter with each flicker until they formed the sentence that knocked the breath out of my chest: ‘Aurelia, Will You Marry Me?’ I gasped, my hand flying to my lips. “Oh my God…” I whispered, my voice trembling as I jumped down from the car.

The streetlights cast a warm, dim glow over us, stretching our shadows long across the cobblestone. He muttered the entire way, and he finally stopped walking and cleared his throat, his expression so solemn one would think he was making a sacred vow. "Serena, I learned a saying, ah… Come hell or high water, I would go… For you…" His azure irises were filled with sincerity, and though he was so clumsy that I almost laughed, I couldn't help but feel the warmth in my heart. Just as I was about to reply, a shadow barrelled out of the alleyway nearby, smashing into Steven with a punch to the side of his face and the scent of alcohol.

"Don't be afraid my sweetheart. I am your friend, people call me Dolly" "Step back, go.... go away!".she got brood. "Ok fine, Listen to me" before he came closer she threw ice cream on his face. in reflex, it step back and Sarah got a chance to close the window. "Listen to me, dear" He smiled while cleaning his face and start tapping on the window giving it a musical rhythm. Due to the closed window voice came slow but it was obvious he was singing a song.

"Purge protocol? What the hell does that mean?" "It means they're here to clean up their mess," I say, the static's ghost stirring uneasily. "And we're part of the mess." The first drone descends at dawn. --- **The Harvester** It's sleek and silent, a sphere of polished metal trailing tendrils of white light. It hovers over the Bastion's corpse, scanning the ruins with a beam that burns where it touches. Survivors scream as it passes, their skin blistering, their veins glowing white.

They worship a God that doesn't exist, making their beliefs and rituals erratic and fatal without a real purpose. Pulling the hood of my fur coat over my head, I close my eyes, gripping my whip blade tightly, and I try to concentrate on the buzzing sound as it draws near. I swing my blade, blindly releasing the whip to my right, slicing the drone in half. It sparks as it lands on the snow, releasing a bright yellow light into the sky before it self-destructs. FUCK!! Suddenly, there is a violent ripple of cold winds encasing me as a ship begins to descend over my head. I take off running, aspiring to lure the ship away from the cave.

“We must proceed with caution. The Solarion—” “—is not ready,” interrupts Magister Draven, his robes rimmed with frost where my heat cannot touch him. “Even if it were, such a weapon risks unraveling the weave of the heavens themselves. One strike, and the Reach will become—” “A starless grave,” I finish for him. The words fall soft as silk, heavy as execution. They flinch. Good. They should. “You speak as though that is not the point.” A silence follows, sharp enough to cut throats.
