My Drill Will Pierce The Heavens Novels & Stories

The Sub-Spires The drills belonged to the Sub-Spires—a contingency plan Malakor had buried miles beneath the earth before the fall of the Iron-Spires. While the world looked at the sky and the "Signal Fire," the Syndicate’s automated "Deep-Legion" had been slowly tunneling upward for centuries, powered by the very heat the Nightfang discarded. "They’re using Cavitation-Drilling," Kael realized, placing a hand on the vibrating granite. By using high-frequency sound waves to create microscopic bubbles in the rock’s moisture, the drills were literally vaporizing the mountain ahead of them. They weren't just approaching; they were dissolving the Citadel’s foundation.

The clouds above us tear open—and the sky is filled with angels. Principalities. Archangels. Powers. Virtues. Dominions. The Hosts of Heaven, ready to rain down justice. "It is the Cenotaph. It is the collective memory of every surgeon who regained their humanity and was discarded for the error. It is the place where the Discord began." As we drifted closer, the mercury in my blood began to sing. It wasn't the high-pitched shriek of the Eleventh Suture; it was a deep, resonating bass note that matched the original heartbeat of our mountain. The Ninth Peak groaned, the obsidian shell vibrating in sympathy with the iron spire. "The Hammer," Harl breathed, his eyes widening as the first spark of recognition returned to his face. "Elara, the spire is a hammer! The whole moon is an anvil!"

"Dharani, I think I have some unfinished business here with you" dhruv said with dangerous tone.

The wind blew more robustly, making the leaf dance wildly. The next moment, Efrain and Gio witnessed a small hole forming in the sky. The hole grew bigger with each passing of time, then a shadow escaped through the hole one by one and went straight to the coffin. While everything happened, Kiara watched it while biting her lips. She waited and waited for the elders to pass the gate. But all she could see was a shadow.
