I answer, and with shaking hands, I dial his number and press the call button, and before I could even hang up or change my mind, he answers in a low tone, saying "Hello?" In a shaky tone I start to speak, "ahh.. hello Xavier, i...it's me Lesha fro..from the club." Others were earlier entries from before the period she had physical copies for. She moved through them efficiently, noting the dates flagging the ones she'd return to.. Then she found the audio folder. It consisted of three files. She clicked, opening the first one. It contained Lorna's voice came through the speakers clearer than she expected. They were casual notes on grocery list and other irrelevant things. Until she got to the third file. The date on it was seven days before the wedding.
