My Drill Will Pierce The Heavens Novels & Stories

“They’ll come again. And if they find you, they’ll use you. You don’t understand what you are.” “I’m not leaving without answers.” Drayke wiped the blood from his lip, his voice low but steady. “Then you’ll get them from me. Because I’m done letting him speak for you.” They locked eyes again, the promise of another fight simmering just beneath the surface. And then The alley lights flickered. Once. Twice. Caelum’s head snapped up. “We’re not alone.” Before anyone could move, a drone screamed down from above, red targeting lasers sweeping across the ground. The air filled with the sound of spinning rotors and a mechanical voice:

Draven answered, “The world beneath the world.” Kael finished, “The thing that rewrites.” The pillar of light around them pulsed. The web shook. And a crack tore open across the vast, glowing horizon — a single line of darkness cutting through the brilliance like a wound. Elaria’s pulse halted. “What is that?” Kael stepped toward her again, unable to stop himself despite the way his form flickered with each movement. “You must listen to me. Whatever you think this place is—” Draven’s voice overrode his, sharper, colder, edged with something inhuman:

“I didn’t want this. I just wanted to belong.” Freya moved to him, wrapping her arms around him. “You do belong, wiith us.” For a second everything stilled, then the stars started falling. It began as a whisper in the sky. A single glimmer blinked out. Then another. And another. The heavens themselves were going dark. I looked up and saw the crack. A jagged rift opening above us like a wound in the universe. From it, silver fire bled into the atmosphere. And with it came a sound low and ancient like the earth itself was mourning.

The fissure widened one final, catastrophic inch— —and something ancient reached through, wrapping unseen fingers around Kael’s spine. He froze. Slowly, impossibly, his eyes met mine as the sky began to drag him upward. “Aria,” he said softly, voice breaking, “don’t let it take—” The light swallowed him whole. And the heavens began to close.

The ground beneath their feet shook violently as mountains cracked and the distant oceans roared thousands of miles away. Then, the sky itself began to change. A single silver line appeared directly above Earth, stretching flawlessly from horizon to horizon. At first, it looked harmless—beautiful, even. Then, it widened. Reality split open. A massive, bleeding scar formed across the heavens. Across the globe, people screamed, animals panicked, and entire cities watched the sky in absolute horror. Something was opening. It wasn't arriving; it was awakening. The Hunter let out a sound unlike any it had made since its arrival—a desperate, piercing cry that sounded unmistakably like a plea.

Birds called from the trees near the orchard, and somewhere farther off I could hear the low, steady sound of livestock. The sunrise itself was quiet and expansive, painting the sky in soft shades of peach, gold, and pale blue. The timber beams of the balcony and the rustic wooden railing made the entire setting feel both luxurious and grounded at the same time, exactly the kind of peaceful escape I hadn't realized I needed so badly. Grace was already seated, looking far more awake than I felt, pouring coffee into two thick ceramic mugs. "Quinn, this is gorgeous. Thank you for inviting me," she said, clearly excited.

The Great Swallow Spell! And so on... All three thousand great spells in the world were stacked together, leading to completion. At that moment, he suddenly had enlightenment about life, death, fate, heavenly law, and everything in the universe! “Heaven and Earth’s Drive!” Boom! A loud noise was heard. The dark Phanes Realm was severed. The Primeval Lord of Heaven, who controlled the Phanes Realm, wouldn’t stop vomiting blood. He could no longer control the Flesh Grindstone. After Alex unleashed the move, Heaven and Earth’s Drive, and punched through the sacrificial altar, the Flesh Grindstone also exploded from the energy blast.

“Keep something out while you take back what’s ours.” I nodded. The past didn’t matter. The door did. We dropped into the throat of the earth. The tunnels breathed rot and iron. Chants rolled ahead hundreds of voices marching in place. > “Four Howls for the God that Sleeps” “Not tonight,” I said, and Recce took me. We hit the first rank so hard the prayer broke in half. Claws opened a man from the sternum to the spine. Another thrust a pike; I drove it through his own shoulder until it met stone.

We can’t mourn what tried to destroy us. As I shut the incinerator, a soft hum starts in the distance. Not loud—just annoying. “Where the hell is that coming from?” Drake mutters. “No idea, but it’s obnoxious,” Layla growls. We lift a box lid—empty. Just as we’re about to move on, Drake points to the sky. “There.” A black drone hovers high above. I draw my gun, aim, and shoot. One bullet. It drops. “Nice shot,” Drake says. “Let’s hope it wasn’t a kid’s toy.”

She was going to strike now. “Heavenly Spear Arts: Heaven Destroyer!” The heavens split open and the earth wailed. The skies grew red as the power of Thrud filled the world. Before any of the Ascenders could make a move a strong beam of light formed above their heads in the clouds above and descended upon them *Boom* *Boom* *Boom* “Ahh!”
