An enemy of my enemy is a friend. I recall little of how I got to be with them because I spent years consumed in hate and grief as a little boy. They took me in because I had no family left. Maybe they felt pity for me, but I grew up to understand that nothing is for free. I’m just a tool in their plan for revenge and I’m happy to comply. We might have different reasons for wanting to destroy the Toranes, and I don’t care. All I care about is seeing them destroyed and on their knees.
