“Who is she?” I asked, my gaze lingering a moment too long on the curve of her hips. Her appearance was ordinary, but her figure reminded me unsettlingly of Seraphina.
“She’s the omega with big dreams,” Aran replied casually. “Wants to become the first female healer in this male only Academy. Impressive, isn’t it?”
“Impressive?” I echoed, buttoning my shirt. Seraphina’s bold words about claiming the throne and leading a pack flashed through my mind, stirring irritation in my chest. “More like a donkey in a horse race.”
