Loyalty wasn’t her style. Control was. Precision and distance were. “You didn’t owe Isabella that,” I said.

I replied sounding as confident as I can. “Then let me ask you, where does your loyalty lie?” His question might be straightforward but it’s heavy and unfair. “To you” I found myself saying because I know, I know I’ll choose him every time if I ever have to make a choice between him and anything, I know…I’ll choose him all the time. “Then I’ll tell you” He smiled and I felt the heavy weight on my heart being lifted because I had doubts if he will really trust me and tell me whatever the fuck was happening.
