Her Silent Tears

Her Silent Tears

Arha is my elder brother Arhaan's daughter, she’s just three year old but acts really like a nerd. I would accept that Arhaan himself is scared of his daughter than his wife Taiba. she's the one who daily wakes me up in the morning, she’s the princess of our house. Walking toward the washroom, I quickly had a shower and went downstairs to have breakfast with my family. "Silence” I told as I entered the living room which was very noisy. "This is not your office bro."Arhaan voiced out. "Some people prefer having breakfast in peace.” I stated.

THE HEIRESS IN OVERALLS

THE HEIRESS IN OVERALLS

"It feels too quiet. I keep waiting for another message, another alarm or another problem to happen." "Quiet is something we worked hard for, " Silas said softly, kissing her neck gently, his breath warm on her skin. "Quiet means there are no people controlling us from behind." He walked over to the black desk, picked up a thick book that came earlier that day and started flipping through the pages. The cover was blank. The first page had a special name on it. "Speaking of our accomplishments " Silas said, smiling slowly as he looked at the pages. "The numbers are in your book.

THE QUIET BETWEEN US

THE QUIET BETWEEN US

The familiar sequence — key in the lock, the slight resistance of the door, the sound of her bag hitting the floor. Then Anne herself, stepping in with the exhaustion of someone who had been holding other people together all day. She dropped onto the couch. “Tell me the evening is going to be quiet.” “I made food,” Joy said. “You’re my favourite person.” They ate on the couch. No television. Just the quiet shift into evening. Joy was quieter than usual. “How was your day?” Anne asked. “Quiet. You?” Anne exhaled. “Tiring. One of my clients was having a harder day. Those ones stay with you.”

His Quiet Undoing: TO LOVE THY BROTHER

His Quiet Undoing: TO LOVE THY BROTHER

AURELIA POV♤ Zane watched me quietly for a few seconds after I touched my cheek. He didn’t say anything immediately, but I could feel his attention on me even though he was looking out of the window. The city lights reflected faintly on the glass beside him, and for a moment, the car was filled with silence except for the soft sound of the engine and distant traffic. “Aurelia,” he said eventually, his voice calm but thoughtful, “are you really okay?”

The Quiet Exit

The Quiet Exit

I wanted to take it with me, to bury these ridiculous seven years for good. The office was pitch-dark, except for the light still on in the CEO's office. Wanting to say a final goodbye to Chelsea, I walked up to the door and reached for the handle. That was when I heard her voice, trembling with tears and something indistinct underneath. "Donald, don't. We can't do this…" My hand froze in midair.

The Alphas Little Warrior

The Alphas Little Warrior

I thought about closing the vent, shoving things inside it to block the sound out, but then I’d have no air coming into this tiny room. I began to laugh loudly, then screamed at the top of my lungs, “you’re trying to drive me crazy, well good luck with that asshole, should have been around a few months ago, deal with the bullshit I’ve dealt with, this noise won’t do it.” I grabbed the book about baby steps to a clear and focused mind and began reading as Scarlett hummed in my head. I’ll drown out this sound or just be annoyed with it, but I won’t go crazy, and I won’t fail this test. I found the book interesting and practical, but it also stated that the mind needs quiet time to recharge a

This book is great. Tenderness, yarning, caring ML, badass FML, adorable child character, likable supporting characters, and humor. There's an annoying subplot at the beginning, but don't let that put you off—it's definitely worth reading on.

Love's Quiet Demise

Love's Quiet Demise

he replied casually. Lavender Quinn was Sean's junior colleague. I didn't know what to feel, except pity that after all the effort we'd put into buying the tickets, neither of us had really paid attention. On the way back, Sean pulled out his phone again. I couldn't take it and slammed it shut. He frowned at me. Looking him in the eye, I said teasingly, "You've missed two monthly dates already. I finally got you here, yet you're constantly on your phone. And you keep talking about your colleague. I'm going to get jealous now."

Surrogate For The Mafia Lord

Surrogate For The Mafia Lord

"Sexy? Now that's an interesting perspective. Care to elaborate?" I shift in my seat, suddenly aware of the heat building low in my belly. "It's not just because I love books—though that's obviously a big part of it. There's something about how quiet and dignified they are. The hushed atmosphere, the hidden corners..." I trail off, embarrassed by where my thoughts are going. But Armani leans forward, his eyes darkening. "Hidden corners where...?" "Where you have to be very, very quiet," I whisper, holding his gaze. "Where the slightest sound could give you away."

Gone With the Quiet Wind

Gone With the Quiet Wind

"A shell of her former self, eh? That's spot on, Grandpa. Let's just focus on ourselves from now on. They're nothing to us." He nodded in agreement. "I won't get worked up because of her anymore. We'll live well together." Jolene dropped by not long after. She came bearing gifts for Bruce, but didn't plead for Leon. "Bruce, I'll get to the end of this. I'm just glad you're alright." Bruce didn't give her a warm response. She felt guilty and left on her own. However, she felt an odd sense of emptiness growing inside her as she walked away, leaving her increasingly uneasy. She lit a cigarette—something she hadn't touched in a long time.
