I stood barefoot in the shallow edge of the Moonstone Falls, the cool stream lapping against my ankles, the hem of my ceremonial wrap cloth brushing the water. My hands rested on my belly. Beside me stood Xander, tall and radiant, wearing his ceremonial robe, arm brushing mine. His gaze never left me. Never left us.
