If I Could Turn Back Time

If I Could Turn Back Time

With Ayo's graceful figure, any man would be unable to resist her. She smiled at Shuten as she looked at her own kimono. "Bring Ms. Sachs here. The show tonight should start soon. Just watch how I take down Templer Road!" Shuten grinned and bowed. "I'm on it now!" Esther trapped Yondu and the others in the shop, preventing them from going to the backyard. Without the door, the bustling Templer Road could be seen. There were many Mystic practitioners on the street, and they would look at the Hall of Herbs with curiosity.

My mysterious billionaire

My mysterious billionaire

This was really happening. I turned to look out the window. The familiar lights of the city shrank, becoming a distant, glittering tapestry against the dark earth. I was leaving it all behind—my tiny apartment, my overflowing email inbox, my predictable life—for a destination I didn't even know. I looked back at Ilay, who was watching me with an expression of quiet satisfaction. “So,” I said, my voice steadier than I felt. “Are you going to tell me where we’re going, or is that part of the mystery?”

Mystique Luna

Mystique Luna

I heard that most rogue attacks happened there, so I expected little from our duty there. "I'm gonna miss my dog," someone behind me whispered. Most were grumbling about the things they'd miss once we were assigned to the homestead. I could relate somehow. Once I got there, it would be even farther from our house and my mother. "Is everyone here?" Zayn asked after he entered the community bus. He looked around and then caught my eye. "Coraline, come sit beside me," he said, patting the seat next to him. I shook my head. Seeing my reluctance, he sighed and moved to sit beside me instead.

A BILLIONAIRE'S CONTRACT OF BETRAYAL

A BILLIONAIRE'S CONTRACT OF BETRAYAL

They became my unlikely allies, guiding me through the labyrinthine maze of secrets and deceit. One such ally was Jack, a streetwise hustler with a heart of gold. His rugged exterior hid a keen intellect and a knack for uncovering hidden truths. Together, we delved into the underworld, seeking answers and the evidence that would exonerate me. Our conversations were filled with cryptic clues and whispered exchanges, as we strategized and planned our next move. "You've got to stay one step ahead, Mia," Jack warned, his eyes gleaming with a mixture of caution and determination. "Isabella's reach is far-reaching, and she won't hesitate to use any means necessary to keep you under her control."

Alpha’s Forbidden Mate

Alpha’s Forbidden Mate

“We’ve got company.” They scrambled upright, barely decent, Wyn’s kit jammed hastily into pockets. Carolina, hair wild, still tasting Xander on her lips, led them up the ravaged stairwell, past the walls of collapsed words and children’s drawings. Outside, the city was shrouded in morning mist, pale light refracting off the broken glass. Shapes moved at the street’s edge—mercenaries, or syndicate, or maybe just another batch of kids trying to live through the day.

The Streets meet The Mafia

The Streets meet The Mafia

Yuri After talking to the kid, I stood there looking at Misha who was now busy eating some of my French fries that came with the food I ordered. I want to believe the kid, but I have worked with Misha for years and this doesn’t seem like something he would do. He is the loyal type, and this is not his style. “Misha, let’s go, we are meeting the kid at the warehouse.” I watch as his expression changes when I mention the kid but quickly masks that and nods.

I must say I loved this book. I didn’t think I would because it was a different mafia type storyline. However it was great, written well, characters were unique, and not long and dragging. Thanks author you are one of my favorites here. Keep up the great work and I will keep reading.

Hearts and Ashes

Hearts and Ashes

Yet, his footsteps echo behind me. As I reach the end of the road, my attention is drawn to a distressing scene unfolding before me. Two menacing figures loom over a trembling cabbage seller, their demands echoing through the bustling street. The woman's fear is palpable, her eyes pleading for assistance. Just as I prepare to intervene, Thrystan steps forward, his commanding presence capturing the attention of the crowd. "Why don't you leave the woman be, huh?" Thrystan's voice cuts through the tension like a blade, his gaze fixed unwaveringly on the aggressors.

ALMOST PERFECT

ALMOST PERFECT

Maplewood was a neighborhood stitched together by ancient oaks and the quiet hum of suburban life, where secrets were as common as hydrangeas in June. It was here, on a street that smelled like coffee that Lisa Chen first saw Greyson Vale. The encounter happened on a Tuesday, under a sky bruised purple with the promise of rain. Lisa was wrestling a rebellious grocery bag, its plastic handle biting into her palm, when she turned the corner and collided—not physically, but with the full, disorienting force of his presence— a man who seemed carved from the very storm clouds gathering overhead.

RED LABEL

RED LABEL

A mission that haboured no room for distraction. "Hey, man, Don't act like you didn't hear me!" the street hustler persisted. Nobody continued walking, but a faint smile touched his mouth. He recognized the voice before the young man caught up with him. It belonged to a familiar street hustler named Malik, a wiry twenty-something who spent most of his days selling phone accessories from a folding table and most of his evenings trying to convince people that he had once been a professional fighter.

Alpha Caius and the Runaway Luna

Alpha Caius and the Runaway Luna

A couple of people were sitting out front in fold out chairs, passing a bottle between them. I darted across the street, aiming for the narrow alleyway dividing the crumbling homes. The scent of trash swallowed me up the further in I ran. Veering right to an adjoining alleyway, I stumbled to a halt when two men stepped from the shadows. I recognized them instantly. Broad shoulders, dark hair, eyes that swam like liquid gold. It was the men from Mystic’s, the two that had accompanied Alpha Caius Blackwell. Oddly enough, I was relieved it wasn’t my father’s men that had caught up to me.

Dear Author, I love your books. I look forward to reading the rest of this one as you write. You have not updated this book in some time so I hope you and your family are ok. Thank you for sharing your imagination and vision.

the story is good and funny, but updates are only every 2 weeks or so. 230 chapters and still very far from any of the multiple problems being solved. So I guess, with only a few chapters per month the story will go on for another year or more.
